Sending hugs & get well soon wishes to your roommate & friend @weenancyinAmerica. Hope all you other poorlies feel better soon too.
Sorry I've been AWOL, had a couple of late nights & been too tired to type! Now on NSD#3
Friday I felt a bit queasy on wakening, so no exercises done. Had a good day at work, then headed to town, giving work bestie a lift on the way. Dropped sewing off, collected more, then went shopping with mum.We decided to get a takeaway for tea, she'd paid last time, so my turn this time. Watched TV afterwards & I sewed buttons on some decorations until DS3 told me his film had finished & he & his friend were ready to go home. Put the perishable food away, then headed to bed.
Saturday I had an achy back & stomach. Messaged a friend to say we wouldn't be going to his bonfire party, DH didn't feel comfortable being in a group of people in a small space & didn't want to wear a mask. A lovely day, so we walked 4.5 miles. I had leftover Chinese takeaway for dinner, then sewed felt gingerbread men the rest of the afternoon & part of the evening. Watched a dvd, & sorted more out of the cupboard, so another 7 to donate. Did a big pile of ironing, found 3 pairs of jeans DS3 had looked out as being way too small, listed 2 & another pair for the CS.
Grateful for hot water bottles to ease aches, a good time with mum, a takeaway treat, a message from a friend to say DS1 is a lovely lad, a clearer space in the living room & that I'm making progress with the decorationsUse it up, wear it out

I had my first outing of the month last night- a friend's 70th party. Dh was doing the pa for it and was therefore out from late morning. Dc would therefore be on their own once I went out. Gulp. Last time we were both out, dc called me because they were having a meltdown, so I said I'd be home by 9, giving me a grand total of one hour at the party once travel time was accounted for. I enjoyed my 60 mins of freedom 🤣, and chatted with lots of people who I rarely see.I am grateful for friends who don't care how long it is since I last saw them, for having a car, for finding a string of 100 fairy lights for £2, for successful banana bread and cookies reducing the banana stash to a mere 12 (down from 35...).NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!13

Exercise today has been a very long dog walk as it was dry when I got up, yesterday the rain did not stop, out for over two hours making the most of the dry morning.
Been in the garden as well, re-potting two plants that needed bigger homes and cleared up a load of leaves.
Bit of self-care this afternoon, hair needs a colour, bought a box dye yesterday, while that is on my head, going to read my new book I got from the Charity shop yesterday, its one by Lisa Jewell, read two of her when I was on holiday, been looking out for another ever since and yesterday I found one.

Afternoon turtles
NSD today. Managed to stay up until 9.30 last night and slept through to 6.30 so feel much more normal! Also feeling less ill as well which always helps.
Went to see my pony this morning, he was very fresh and ready to go! Haven't done much else today but hey, it's Sunday and last day of annual leave so who cares!
Only decluttering today was emptying all the bins.12 -

NSD No 4
- Health and Wellbeing - Haven't had my pampering yet but I will after dinner.
- Household - Another busyish day. Tidied the cupboard containing the pots and pans. It was in the same state as the cutlery drawer and for the same reason. Otherwise just general cleaning.
- Garden - Disposed of some plants that were at the end of their natural season. Pruned some others and swept the porch. Tidied some empty pots away. Looking lots better.
- Declutter -. I overestimated the amount of pens but only slightly. Have kept the ones that write and they are now living in their new home together with numerous pencils, sharpeners. rubbers, staples, etc, etc, etc.. One of Himself's many tins that he couldn't bear to throw out. At least everything is in the same place now so no more having to buy stationery type items because we don't know they are. Just by getting things organised I now have two completely empty drawers. A bit more stealth decluttering and started another bag for the charity shop.
- Socialise - I'm off to Edinburgh tomorrow. Three nights. No plans as to what we're doing but I hope we can have a real good discussion about the future. We need some serious lifestyle changes.
Guess it has to be the fireworks tonight. Which have, by the way, started already.
So, I'd better get started on the packing such as it is. Need my winter woolies. Edinburgh is a chilly place when that wind blows in from the Forth.
See you on Thursday. xxxxHave adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.13 -
