Morning all
I try to have a lay in on Saturdays but absolutely loads to do today. More hens incoming too 😊😊
Cake in oven already and prepping dinner to go in SC. I’ll report back later xx8 -
Morning all. Hope you're all ok.
I'm up early to walk the dog as DH and I have a day out today. We will be going on a train to Piggers neck of the woods, so we'll wave as we go by. Might even bump into you on your food shop Piggers, who knows!
I don't expect much flying to get done although I'll change bedding today.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.7 -
Morning all,
I had a lie in - whoops - but it was lovely. I started making a list for the weekend last night, it seems to be quite long with just extra things let alone the usual catch ups.
Horrendously busy week at work last week - short staffed again, but at least the phones were quiet so I could get stuff ticked off slowly. DD popped back unexpectedly one afternoon so I had a couple of hours in the evening with her before she went back to uni city. She loves being in the city but I think she misses the country (and maybe us?!) just a teensy weensy bit sometimes. YL, I hope your DS is ok x1 load in the wm, dinner needs to go in the sc (thanks for the reminder ASB), then I think that I need to go garlic planting and manure spreading for a couple of hours. Such a glamorous life.
Have a lovely day all x8 -
Dog walk done. Bedding changed but it will have to dry indoors. Dailies done.Spend less now, work less later.6

Thank you. Not exactly, but the only housework I did was to vac the sofa and wash and TD the table cloth I used for the lunch as well as the one (blue and white check) we have for everyday use. incidentally, the stain came out with Glow White, but the damask one came out with a slight blue tinge *sigh*. I thought about putting a colour catcher sheet in with them but as the other table cloth has been washed lots of times I didn't think it was necessary. I will have to re-wash the damask with another Glow White sachet and maybe some bleach for good measure.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

Good morning my lovelies xx
I appear to have purloined asb's lie in. I woke up at 6.30 and thought Nope. Woke up again at 8.50 and got up at 9.15. Oh well I must have needed it. Feeling sluggish now. Maybe a second brew will enliven me.
Only thing set in stone today is Visit Pops this afternoon. I've made my bed and brought down the laundry hamper. I've checked the weather forecast and decided it will be a drying indoors sort of day. Outside is confirming this. Overcast and very still.
Right. Second brew and set first load swishing. And toast. With marmalade. Then get dressed. It's a plan.
Hope you all have a good day.

call yourselves liers-in? Amateurs 🤣
I SLEPT until 9:50😱
Although i did wake up earlier and stuck some bedding in the TD and popped another load in the WM, but went back to bed to sleep some more
So far Braved the cold in my nighty to let the bunnies out, folded the washing from the TD and back upstairs for my vertical half hour.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Morning all
I have replenished the indoor wood store and not before time - the clouds are building and we have a yellow weather warning for rain.
Have emptied the kitchen bin and decanted the bag to the outside rubbish bin.
Cleaned the ash out from the wood burner, swept the hearth and then swept the living room floor for good measure.
Need to put the WM on at some point today (and then TD because of the rain) but DGD is due round for an hour or so in a moment so I'll wait until after she's gone.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life
