I will earn very little from the saving sessions, without the in day adjustment, as I'm a low user and have solar panels.

But even if I just earn the 62.5p for joining, that's more than I had yesterday.

We might get points for opting into each session again too. ( I did read the T&Cs, but have already forgotten most of it.)

Yeah but you win in other ways like 15p export rate etc

I mean, this is an industry where it's common for companies to be paid to not generate power. 
But more broadly that statement is nonsense anyway. I swear it's one of those things spread around by people who get loads of stuff for free to make it look like they don't. If you ever just stick your toe in the water of the entertainment industry people just throw free stuff at you. Start promoting small music gigs in a pub basement and you can probably get on the guestlist for any show in a five mile radius just by asking. They're not given out because they think one day you might be a big deal and might remember them, just there are loads of free tickets for shows going around and the industry shares them out among themselves.

Might be better to get your own response from the horse's mouth so to speak and file that away for future use. Hearsay on boards well that won't help anyone really
