  • Thanks beanielou. Apparently it went well and they should hear in 2 weeks time.
Found today's outing very emotionally draining, came home and crashed. Only jobs, 4 and 5 completed. Tomorrow is another day, another opportunity.

  • Not the best of days but it could of been worse. Has to gently remind a family member that they need to check that people are free to support them when booking holidays. They have booked several and I'm really not available to help due to been on holiday myself. My sister and I feel like we are beating our heads against a brick wall.
Mortgage company wsnt mum to provide evidence of where the money has come from she was giving us. Unfortunately due to her not been at home and not even sure she has statements from 15 years ago (part of a lump sum when she retired),we are having to rethink. Luckily since applying for mortgage 5 months ago I've managed to save really hard the amount we need but it will wipe out everything. This includes the money saved for a new wheelchair for the youngest. If we don't do this our month repayment will be a struggle, especially this time next year when we no longer get CTC. Just going to have to bite the bullet and get on with it.

So the positive is that your frugality has really helped. Your mum could maybe sub the wheelchair.

We're applying for a remortgage. Had yet another phone from mortgage broker with yet another problem.
No money spent today. Most of the day was dedicated to cleaning and decluttering the downstairs and upstairs bathrooms. Managed to crate additional space in both.
    Frugalness
    1. Used up a facial scrub which was from the youngest (no longer wanted) to clean the bath.
    2. Used DH old toothbrush to clean the tile grout. Must remember to get him a new one out tonight.
    3. Used the slow cooker to cook Veggie cassoulet.
    4. Found several items to sell and several to donate to cs
    5. Toothpaste tube cut up to get to what's left.
    6. Cut several tubs up to make plant labels.
