  • I totally understand the sentiment behind not being bothered with family money. I'd rather go without it as well rather than being held to ransom as and when they feel I owe them a favour or whatever.
Hope you feel a little less tired today ❤️

    Glad someone gets it debtfreewannabe321.
Yesterday was a day of 2 halves. Went to the plot and once back I promptly fell asleep. I'm hoping my blood results will shed some light on my tiredness, if not it's probably stress. I have started to take bach's rescue remedy to help with the building aniexty, which has helped me feel abit calmer. Had some news on a family member health after they paid private, all I'm going to say is half the issue was because they had not read the leaflet on side effects. Made me chuckle. Good old belly laughs. Anyway they are still investigating the original issue so hopefully they will get some answers soon.
    Frugalness for yesterday
    1. Used nature's tumble dryer
    2. Found some carrots still in one of the raised beds, harvested those and the last of the leeks.
    3. Someone at the allotment had got rid of a load of pots, so brought them home for potting on.
    4. Tea was leftovers.

    Love 🐞

I'm not sure how old you are LB and I know it's rude to ask so I won't  But I am going through menopause earlier than some- I'm 45 and pretty much at the end of it now (runs in the family though so I was kinda expecting it, it's a good job we were all young mums eh) But tiredness was the worst symptom I had by far. On recommendation from a friend (and fellow DFW diarist actually) I now take MSM- Methylsulfonylmethane (I had to copy and paste that one, I cannot spell it anywhere near right  ) and I also take a very good pre-pro biotic every day. They are the only two things I try to take every day. I think stress is also a big factor in tiredness though as we are in constant states of fight / flight/ fawn/ freeze and our bodies get exhausted trying to keep up, perhaps some gentle yoga or meditation might help, or just a nice hot bath with the door shut and a book? You have had a lot on your plate lately. Hope you get to the bottom of it soon.

  • Collected blood test results and physically I'm fine. So it's life that is wearing me out. Life is continually throwing me curve balls and I need to let some drop. I need to take a step back from certain people or at least limit my involvement with them. I need to do more things I enjoy and less of those I don't. That's housework out the window🤣. I need to hunt for my mojo. I need ice cream. I need more hugs. I need to slow down and smell the daffodils.

Sending virtual hugs, although I know the real thing is so much better....perhaps the dog will oblige if no one else is available?

I've been reading but not posting so I'm popping out of lurkdom to donate some virtual {{{hugs}}}. You do indeed have a lot to juggle, your mojo is probably under that somewhere, but don't go looking now. It will resurface when it gets its breath back.

  • Thanks debtfreewannabe321 and cherry fudge for the virtual hugs, almost as good as the real thing.
Had a reasonable day until 545pm when DH came in drama drama drama (too long to go into) which saw us flying by the seat of our pants to get fil emergency prescription before the pharmacy shut. 7 minutes flat must have been channeling my inner Schumacher. They didn't have the drugs, trip to Tesco, waited around an hour (DH super pleased as we shopped for beer and peanuts)collected and dropped off. Queue next drama, dad is currently in a and e waiting to be admitted to hospital due to ongoing issues with his ailments. Doesn't want me to go over.
I'm shattered. Inner calm, inner calm and breathe.

Wow, you have a lot going on! Sending big hugs from here too.
Yaay for the little wins - showers being mastered, buried treasure carrots being found, DH helping a bit more (keep asking - he probably would be happy to help but is a bit oblivious?).
