Whatever ails you, I hope you have a speedy recovery.
  • Oh no lb I am so sorry, I bet your illness is being triggered partly by stress. Can you take an hour for some self-care? I hope your mum will be okay. Sending hugs x

  • Thanks everyone for your well wishes. Unless I make a full recovery in the next 4 hrs, plan B will be instigated. I'm supposed to transporting the eldest from their uni city to a coastal city for a PhD interview. A 7hr journey, a overnight stay and then a 4hr wander around the city whilst they have their interview. However I don't think I've got the energy, luckily I had pre-empted this happening and my wonderful sister is on stand by. She changed her shifts to make herself available. Plan is to drug myself up, collect the eldest and drop them off at their auntie's. It will knock 3 hours of their journey. Eldest would of come home yesterday but they have an important meeting with their professor at 10am today. So goodies are ready, altered trousers are ready and hotel booked. We will reimburse my sister and we have paid for her to have a separate room and will pay for a 2hr extension. 🤞

Nothing about the next couple of days will be frugal.

Managed to pick up the eldest and dropped them off at my sister's. Came home and fell asleep on the sofa. Which is where I am still.

  • Good job my sister did take the eldest yesterday as I spent most of the night awake feeling very sick and sweating. Think I will just take it easy and cancel our plans for the rest of the week.
