@ladybird1106 Oh, I know the feeling about dying houseplants! The guilt is awful when they start to die for no apparent reason. I tend to shove the half dead cacti in the loft out of sight - a bit like the Spartans did with their babies - if they survive then they are strong enough to be give a chance, if not, sorry guys

🤣 Flying_by.
Bought slippers as my feet are cold, they just need pompoms.
Cycled to the plot. We've decided to force 2 rhubarb crowns this year. Several crowns have started sprouting already. Harvested leeks for soup, collected onions from storage to make Veggie shepherd's pie. Lovely sunny day but not enough to keep my feet warm (3pairs of socks). Pot hole tipped me off my bike and wedged my trailer tow bar in the crank shaft. 2 smararitans stopped to help me☺️. My back is a bit sore but I feel I got off lightly. Our town is plagued by pot holes at the moment.
It was light when we collected the youngest from college. The nights are drawing out🎉.
Frugalness
1. Tea - roasted root frittata and chard gratin (plot provided potatoes, beetroot, onions, chard and celeriac)
2. Biked to plot
3. Left oven door open to use residual heat
4. Mum's new jumper (knitted) didn't fit her, but fits me☺️. Lovely and warm.
5. Dobbies seeds are 50 %off. Stocked up and got an additional 10% with my loyalty card.
Grateful for........
1. People stopping to help me
2. A chat with fil about mil's health
3. The boiler keeping us warm.

Owww that sounds like a painful fall. I fell over weeks ago and it took me two weeks to get over the bruises that came from that. Pot holes are everywhere here. We live on a tiny little estate so only one road in and out for us all, including all the delivery trucks etc. The roads are ruined completely. I have lived on better dirt paths in the country than the main road off our estate
Dinner sounds lovely. We had a nice lentil and veg shepherd's pie here the other day, and two portions in the freezer

Thanks beanielou and debtfreewannabe321. Still a bit sore but not sore enough not to cycle to the plot again. Although I was very cautious, as every road I went on has potholes strewn all over the roads. So glad that I have the trailer as it makes drivers more cautious overtaking me.
Emptied one of the compost bins (only 1/4 full), loads of worms and very wet. Unfortunately I got rained off and by the time I got home nature's tumble dryer turned into nature's washing machine. Washing soaked again, so ignored it. I had great plans for this afternoon but fell asleep. Hoping after Monday Dr will agree to alter my medication.

Thanks Flying_by, it restored my faith in humanity.
Had homemade shepherdless pie. Checked through seeds and only ones I've not got is celery. Promptly fell asleep again. Hope I sleep to night.

Today I really need to sort out 3 finical frogs, 2 small ones and 1 really big one which if not sorted will leave us up 💩 creek without a paddle. I can't put it off any longer. Incredibly complicated long winded form to complete 😠. Not great when you have a migraine.
