So this thread is no longer about Friern Bridge Retail Park?

Why are we now discussing a layby in front of Metro Express?

Has the Friern Bridge Retail Park episode been concluded?

How do I get to the newbie threads?
You replied directly under my signature, which tells every poster where/how to click to read the NEWBIES thread.

I put it there under every reply, to stop people asking for a link.  Did you miss my signature? Here it is again telling you where one of the breadcrumb trail links is:

The Frien Barnet case has not been resolved, it just so happened that the CUP incident also happened. Right now, UKPC has refused the appeal 3 times and have also refused to give a popla reference so I guess we may proceed to court. Is there anything I need to be on the look out for?

CUP are a subsidiary of........APCOA well that figures totally useless, and CUP must be the bottom feeders in their organisation.

    Ohh yes please!

Could you add photos of the NTK from CUP Enforcement (front & back) in two separate replies here please?
    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6483542/a-thread-of-pictures-of-2023-parking-firm-ntks/p1

This will form a useful resource as the parking industry finally get regulated in 2024 and we need examples from every PPC of what their NTKs look like in 'pre-regulation' cases and how they might change over time.

    EDIT:
I have just added a UKPC one tonight but we don't have a CUP NTK there yet.

    Thanks!

@Coupon-mad I will upload soonest. I have gone through the newbie posts, can't see the one about CUP. So far I have ignored the CUP notice, however the notice is to the registered keeper, do I need to inform them that I am the driver? So if they take any actions its directed at me and not the registered keeper?

Depends who is best at defending if a court claim arrives. Unlikely from CUP, but now is the time to decide.

Yes please do show the CUP NTK on the thread I started, which will be useful as a resource as things change next year, and as evidence for Public Consultations now.

  • @Coupon-mad does this mean I have to appeal the charge with CUP?
  • Can anyone please advice, I have got the second notification from CUP to pay £100 to the keeper of the vehicle however I am the driver and would go to court if needed. Do I need to appeal the ticket to notify CUP that I am the driver and the correspondence should be addressed to me ?

What?  Who received the PCN?  Whoever it was (presumably the keeper) is the one who responds.  If the keeper was not the driver and wants to transfer liability, then the keeper should use the tear-off strip at the bottom of the original PCN.
