went out on an errand leaving the washing out as fine weather was forecast but it got wet because it rained, bother.
took knitting back due to missed pattern row because i struggle to read the row counter…it’s just a purl after every 3 knits so not blindingly obvious until you’ve knitted more rows and there’s a smooth bit where there should be lumps.
watched hidden figures with DD…

Good morning my lovelies xx
Weather app says 2° .... winter is acoming. I only needed to put the heating on for 50 minutes last night to stay toasty all evening, and I've not put it on this morning....yet! That outside cladding layer makes such a difference to keeping the heat in. (Single skin walls until they added a layer of pretend brick cladding insulation.)
I got up at 7.30, made my bed, set towels and tea towels swishing, and I've supped a brew. I think another brew is required before I get dressed.
I finished reading Pickwick Papers yesterday, and started a much easier read by Edward Marston.
Best wishes for a peaceful Sunday

Morning all
Another beautiful day here, it’s the first frost and looks wonderful.I’ve just re-lit the stove and put a leg of lamb in the slow cooker. It’s a red letter day here for us - our first ever meal of our own lamb! Almost two years since we moved here and so proud of ourselves.I have a small wash load to do and the kitchen needs some attention. DD is adamant she is going to school tomorrow so I’ll get both packed lunches made too.DD desperately needs some new PJs but at £25 for the ones she likes in Next it’s a no so I’m watching several pairs on eBay.I’ll make my list for the week ahead then maybe pick my book up at some point - it just didn’t happen yesterday! Take care all xx6 -
Morning all.
ASB, try vinted too.
I have had breakfast and ordered a Xmas present. That's it so far. Day out with DH cancelled again as he's had to go into work again.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.5 -
Morning allASB you are right to be proud that is an achievement!
Frosty here and sunny, I have a very sore throat but don't feel ill. DH is not feeling great though so not sure he will want to do much.
We have nothing in the fridge so that's a priority. Want to make the most of today because it's going to be a full on day at the paid stuff tomorrow.
Nothing too pressing on the Flying side of things so that's good. My office could do with a good hoover so might do that later.
Have a good Sunday all xx5 -
morning all
just having my vertical half hour then i’m going to pop out in my dressing gown and get the washing on the line.
Weve had frost here too. But it’s lovely and bright right now

I supped my second brew and ate toast. I've pegged out the towels and tea towels, half the washing from the airer has been FUPA, WULTD.
Had a bit of an anxiety attack as found condensation on kitchen windows. Lived here 20 years and not had that before. I guess I'm not keeping the house warm enough. I have no idea why it triggered me. So annoying 🙄
Coffee and a chapter or two are next on the agenda.
