    Great results on v1nted. We've been buying from there for a few months which is great as DS has discovered branded clothes. DH has listed some items and had his first sale yesterday. Seems so much easier than any of the other platforms so I can see this getting a bit addictive!

    I’m finding it very addictive @CathT. The thing that’s bringing me the most joy though is seeing the amount of clutter go down. We’ve so so much. 

    We’ve opted just to replace the fridge for now and it’s hopefully going to pay for that eventually (alongside some overtime at work).

    I was going to say that I don’t have much I could put on there but that is a total lie! 
    I have clothes I don’t wear and clothes that are 3 sizes too small that I cling to as the diet starts tomorrow.
    I need to get a grip and get rid!

    Today I sort, tomorrow I get on vinted!

    Total Debt May 21 £20,490.44  DEBT FREE DATE 29/7/22 

    Mortgage balance May 21 £177,096.19. Now £146,747.17
    Mortgage free date. At start of sole mortgage = July 2042

    2024 SAVINGS FOCUS - get rid of the car finance. Savings balance/outstanding balance = £11,857.56/£12,706.25
    2025 Savings Focus - 33.3/33.3/33.3 split; savings for house renovations (bathrooms/garden/kitchen; whichever collapses first), save for a family holiday (probably our last one!) and paydown/offset the mortgage

    I have 2 parcels to post today and then loads more stuff I need to post on there. But I’ve got lots of chores to do to. 

    So parcel posting and chores today, then posting up more tomorrow maybe.

    Additional Income

    Miscellaneous (lottery, surveys etc.) - £8
    Premium bonds - £0
    Overtime - £0
    Total - £95.74
     
    MORTGAGE 
    Current daily interest - Reduction since start of new mortgage - £0.11
    We now own 31.67% of the house (based on original sale valuation) - current rough valuation actually puts us as 43.05% 
    5 rooms owned (6 if I go with the higher valuation).
    Paid off 23.67% of the original mortgage amount. 0.48% off the new mortgage. 
    Current MF date - Oct  MAY 2037.

    Also, new fridge/freezer ordered and should be here on Friday all being well. I'm very excited by this.

    We now own 31.98% of the house (based on original sale valuation) - current rough valuation actually puts us as 43.31%

    So we sent the new fridge back as we managed to fix the old one. However, our oven then blew up so we decided to buy a new oven and a combi oven so we can do lots of cooking. Our oven has been on it's way out since we moved in so I'm looking forward to having one that hopefully works. 

    They were delivered yesterday and just need fitting now. 

    Work have been offering overtime so I've completed more of that this month - I've taken a step back from Vinted as a result though as I've just not had the time to list things. But things are also very busy with the Christmas activities. We've done an elf hunt so far, set up for the school Christmas fayre and I've manned the drinks station at the kids school disco. 

    I'm going to step back from both for the remainder of the month however, as I just have too much going on at home. Both good and bad (extended family health issues). 

    I'm exhausted so today is a slow one, just catching up on life admin and trying to straighten the house out a bit. DH was given a lot of books for free so we are just about to sort through them, then will try and donate them to the charity shop nearby. 

    DS1 has been having quite a few problems in school, but I'm hopeful that will be better in the new year as a lot of additional support is being put in place. I'm also hoping DS2's EHC needs assessment goes through ok, just waiting for the EP to see him but that will most likely be February time. 

    All the food is ordered for Christmas though so fingers crossed we have a lovely time with no major dramas.

    Smashed my initial and revised targets. I'm really happy with that. Don't think December will produce much more now as I'm unlikely to pay much attention to reducing clutter - unless I have time after Christmas...who knows.
