We do but they don’t have any events on this time round. They are super short staffed and struggling to run any events at the minute, which is a shame.

Swimming is Monday pm - I forgot to add that in.

Oooh you’ve just reminded me of somewhere I can take them on Monday. And it’s free. Has play parks and nature walks (assuming the weather is ok). 

DS1 and I will stick to our 3x per week runs as well, so they will take up some time and energy too.

Half term has commenced and we went to a science museum yesterday using free tickets we won in a raffle - yay us. The not very MSE bit it that we ate lunch there which was £30. But hey ho. 

The kids had a great time and today everyone is EXHAUSTED!

MSE weekend. Yesterday we stayed home and mooched around the house. I got on with a bunch of chores and the kids were very quiet. 

Today we went to Junior Parkrun. Ive not been for ages. I cannot get over the pace at which these kids run!!! DS2 did it in 10.37 - PB for him. No way I could have stayed with him at all. 

DS1 did it in 12.57. I struggled to stay with him at the end. Absolutely did me in, but all good fun. 

Posted another Vinted parcel on the way home then spent the bulk of the afternoon in the garden raking up leaves. Still loads more to do but my body was done. 

DH is at the allotment pulling everything out ready for putting it to bed. We aren’t growing over winter this year, we want to do some maintenance on the plot instead (walkways, painting when it’s warm enough, redoing some of the raised beds etc). It’ll be much more difficult to do if we are still growing things.

Eek my fridge door is falling off, my oven doesn’t work properly and I’m not a big fan of the units we have all down one side (all old and tatty - the other half of the kitchen is the same but in better condition). 

So we are thinking of ripping out that side of the kitchen and putting in some new units. Getting a new fridge/oven etc. 

Any tips or a good place to look?

My initial target was to make £100 before Christmas...I've made £109.75 so far. Sooo....I better up my target to £150. If I'm near that by the end of the month I'll up again, but I doubt I've got may big ticket items now. The coats etc have mainly gone.
