  • Yesterday went quite well, although I went and got myself a snack three times, I put it back each time and didn't eat it in the end.
Back in the office today, so have taken a jacket potato for lunch and will be going to the gym tonight

Well done on avoiding the snacks, I'm afraid they are my downfall as well in my case mouth hunger rather than actual hunger

Well colour me cranky!!!  What the heck is the point of going away for a couple of weeks, staying with a teetotal brother who doesn't do carbs and having to walk his dog for him if one isn't going to get some obvious benefit from it all!!!   So before I left I was still 3 pounds above me zero mark and now after big time deprivation I am 7 pounds above the same zero mark!  So I've gained 4 pounds!!!! So unfair!!!!!

So @Brambling I have 7 to lose this quarter!!!

That said - ever since that overnight flight home my feet have been feeling like balloons and are obviously swollen a bit (mess up on the prescription front me thinks - not sleeping for nearly 36 hours will do that).  So I'm hoping that there's a fair bit of inflation that will reverse itself in the next couple of days and I'll be off for a flying start.  I'm basing some of this hope on the fact that during my time away I had to improvise a belt for my jeans that threatened to drop to my ankles every time I inhaled sharply.

Hi Brie I hope you had a good visit 'back home'? I think some of that gain probably due to the travelling 🙂

  • Hi @Brambling I’d like to join again this quarter. I fell off the wagon in September because I kept getting sick. Last week was vertigo and now I have an ensuing sinus infection. Phooey! Could you please put me down for 6lbs? Thank you!

    Hello

Please put me down for 14lbs Brambling

Missed the end of last quarter, October sneaked up on me. I was plateauing so sts and struggling mentally. It was a challenge to stay consistent when the scales weren’t budging and neither was the measuring tape.

Weigh day Wednesday  -2.5lbs please Brambling.

I will keep plodding on with rather low carb.
