That's such a shame your tap water is manky, just this evening I was glugging mine and saying to Mr PIP, as I often do because I'm a fascinating conversationalist, how good water is.
Even when I'm proper grumpy about life it's one of the things I often feel grateful for, living in an age and a country to be able to just turn on a tap and get drinkable water, and however much one wants. Blimmin marvellous.
Is it worth contacting your council and seeing if they've got any water filter-type freebies going, a lot of councils have little budgets and schemes that are never properly publicised for water saving, and something might make yours more palatable?5 -

I know when I visit my dad down south, I have to run the tap for ages before its drinkable. Not as bad as it used to be years ago though. I remember when my mum was still alive it used to be really cloudy then and she used to tell me not to drink it.....lol. I always drink tap water unless we are abroad. I hate having to buy bottled, all that plastic going back into the eco system, 'cause I'm sure it never gets recycled properly. Always look for glass bottles if I have to buy a drink. When we travel we have re-usable bottles and will often ask in cafes etc if they can refill them for us. Most are happy to do it as long as we've bought a coffee or something. I drink far too much water to be paying for it, at least 2L a day.
Have you tried putting a jug of it in the fridge? That can sometimes make it taste betterMaking the debt go down and savings go up

I boil water for my DS. The water here is fine actually but where he was brought up it was really nasty & in summer had squiggly things in it so it put him right off. At least boiling it is cheaper than buying bottled.

Re the water taste would one of those britvic filter water jugs help. We use one and pop a sliced lemon and lime in then pop it in the fridge.0

@Makingabobor2 I did buy a jug actually to put squash in fridge in summer months, may try it for that.
@Scott_Weiland79 I have tried Brita filters in the past but never get on with them for some reason. Maybe I need to try again or a cheaper version anyway*Dad loan - £5300 - £7200

Woke up this morning to discover I had no coffee. So only one thing to do and that's get a Mr C drive thru. £5 from personal spends. I have £1 left for the weekend plus any change I have in my purse. Oops.
My new trainers from Vinred arrived yesterday and they are so comfy. Very pleased with them.
I did an e consult for doctors this morning about my headaches, got a call within an hour and prescribed some strong muscle relaxants. Will have to be careful and see how they effect me before i do any other driving. I will walk to the shop for some coffee I think. I don't have anything else urgent that needs buying before tomorrow.
For those that are interested. First full day on jab yesterday and I ate below calories. Found I wasn't boredom eating as much, didn't really fancy lunch so had protein shake. I went to shop twice to both post and collect a parcel and didn't buy anything. That's my shop I usually buy my junk food from as well. There is literally chocolate in front of you and on counter but no interest. Think the shop keeper might have been in shock. Stepped on the scales this morning and down 1.8lbs. Today again not really that fussed about food, had my latte for breakfast and then didn't eat lunch until 1.50. Even then it was only some toast as ate more because thought I should then through hunger. Not sure if it's the jab or just psychological but have to wait and see.*Dad loan - £5300 - £7200

Does it actually matter if it is psychological. Whatever the reason it is helping you to lose weight that you may not have done otherwise. The psychological could quite probably wear off but until then it is a win anyway.
