  • I saw the other day that latest research shows that sitting for too long every day, is the equivalent of smoking 15 cigarettes a day and is shortening our lives by quite a few years. Even chair exercises while watching TV will help, even if you don't walk too far, or just stand up and move. Its just about getting the heart rate up and the joints mobilised again.

That doesn't surprise me. I made myself get up and have a lunch break. It started raining so didn't get my walk in but did do some odd chores instead. I'm also standing up and wandering around when my fitbit reminds me I haven't done my 250 steps that hour.

Haha I never lend money! This was just a case of ordering something on amazon and forgetting to reimburse myself for it from my dads account.

  • Walked to shop after work, treated myself to a packet of cheetos and wispa. Though stupidly brought the multipack at £1.50 as normal bar was £1.09 so seemed silly not to. Forgetting that I have NO willpower. Promptly eaten all 4 bars this evening. !!!!!!. Luckily still within maintenance calories but not great. Next time I will make myself walk the extra 5 mins to smaller shop where I can get a wispa for 69p lol. I did pay with cash though today and instead transferred the funds to my football fund instead. Now have a £1 in my purse oops.

Tomorrow I need to pop to Mr T after work for food for packed lunch on Wednesday. Also need to book train ticket and pay for parking Wednesday morning at station. So will be a spendy day.

  • Looked at weather for tomorrow and it's miserable. This does mean though i will be OK taking a porridge pot amd naked noodle for lunch. Quick, cheap meal and can put Mr T off until Thursday.

Another successful 14hr fast completed. Weighed this morning, up 0.4lbs, to be expected after my chocolate fiasco yesterday. I know a day within calories and will be gone again tomorrow. I've taken chicken breasts out freezer for today and tomorrow's dinners.

My cat decided to bring me another present this morning, 30 mins spent trying to get this damn mouse out from under coffee table. No luck, had to go take a work call, 5 mins later she comes and drops it dead at my feet meowing up at me so proudly. !!!!!!! This is becoming a habit I'm not happy about.

Work is a bit slow today trying not to rush everything so I have work to keep me busy in office tomorrow. Hoping I will get some new clients soon. I made myself get up and go for a 20 min lunch away from my desk. It's raining again so walk with have to be after work again.

My back is still playing up, tension headaches have resumed so dosed up on cocodomal and using some tiger balm to help. I'm debating taking some money from my EF and booking in for a massage 4 weeks in a row and seeing if helps. I've scheduled in for this Friday as it's my Friday off and will decide after that. May be worth it to help take edge off. Alternative is back to GP for some stronger muscle relaxant.

The cat is now doing her best pigeon impression at the one currently sat on the garden fence. Honestly.

  • I think massage is a much better option than the GP. I am a great believer in a good massage therapist who really knows her stuff.  Also, have you ever tried Reiki?  That is another holistic therapy that I used to have every so often, and now have on a regular basis.  Worth every penny.

No I've never had that. My massage therapist is training in reflexology at the moment so keep seeing her advertising for that at reduced rate. It's supposed to be good, and could also help with some of my digestive issues.

Oh yes, Reflexology is great. Also, Indian Head massage. I allow myself a certain amount a month, I call it my Self Care saving pot, but TBH I could spend double, I never know what treatments to choose, I just find it all so relaxing and useful

I know right could so easily have them all. Indian head massage is what she's training in next so have told her to put me down as guinea pig when she does haha! I'm going to aim for some kind of treatment once a month ongoing to keep on top of it. But for now my lower back is issue and I want to be able to walk without pain after 5 mins
