FootyFanDan said:Getting a month ahead is something that has always been a target for me but it is slow progress to get to that point, something always seems to come up. We also have 4 pay days through the month so we treat each Monday as the payday and reset the budget at that point. We normally refresh the food and petrol budget and also the weekly school meal money.
It sounds like you have a busy weekend coming up, hope you enjoy it

I totally get this feeling about me time, I think my social energy bubble is about at bursting point 😂. It is strange a we normally live in our own little bubble, but over last few months we have socialised with family a lot more than usual.
I try to ensure the big income of the month covers pretty much everything bills / personal spends wise and then through the month we cover groceries, petrol and top up the pots so it does work pretty well0 -
You are doing very well with vinted sales.0

Happy Saturday. Coffee and cake were had this morning it wasn't my turn this time but I did buy a 2nd drink for me and a friend. So that was £7 spent. Think that means it's my turn next time. Luckily it's only every few months so have time. Ended up having a long catch up so popped to Mr T to grab few bits I needed and a meal deal for lunch. Decided was cheaper than buying something at football. It also meant I had a drink to take with me instead of buying one there.
So probably saved £3-4 doing that and also found a free parking space so another £5 saved. Might PAD it but also have £2 my sis in law sent me for the bits I got for her in Mr T. So could potentially PAD £10. Sod it I'm doing it. It all comes from different pots.
Brought my 10 trip ferry ticket that's gone up £1, rude. Did save £1 on train though as went in afternoon rather than morning so it balanced out.
Despite being hungry I resisted the takeaway options and came home and cooked my steak. Was so good. Forgot how nice it can be. Definitely have to get myself some again. Managed my first fast last night and stayed within calories today. Now onto my 2nd fasting period. I'm doing 14:10 atm and will look at 16:8 in future.

Happy Sunday. Popped into lidl for bakery items again for breakfast along with my Mr C coffee. Need to break this habit. So £7 spent in total with round ups.
Interest has gone into my monzo pots. Have withdrawn from my fully funded pots. One of them is locked so have hidden it until it's needed in May. I then rounded up the credit card and month ahead pots interest. Have just over £9 to come tomorrow so will round up again to nearest £5 then remainder into football fund.
Sold another item on vinted, only £2 but it all helps. So will post that tomorrow.*Dad loan - £5300 - £7200

I tried intermittent fasting many years ago. Essentially not eating past 8 and not eating till 11am (or something close to that)
I lasted 4 weeks. I love my morning strong milky coffee too much. Tried living off black coffee and it's not the same!
