Ooh, thanks for that. I'll have a look, I'm just about to nip to Mr S to return some trousers, so I'll have a nosey.

Well I had my coffee. Not just one though, I brought two. Doh. Also brought myself a packet of crisps and a rock cake. Used my cash in purse for it. Now have £10 in cash to last me until payday. Monzo says tomorrow but I won't start it until the weekend. I brought some ketchup and a twirl on way home but shouldn't need anything else now until Saturday.

Started looking at doing my monthly round up only to discover that my Virgin CC is £50 less than I thought. Wahooo. I also forgot that my dad owes me for an amazon order, so i have taken that £25 off what i owe him to give me a round figure. Going to go update my signature in a minute.

Thanks to Monzos early payday i thought I would do a monthly round up.

    Beginning of month was

    Monzo savings Total £5540
    - EF £1000
    - CC Repayments £1000
    - Sinking Fund £3540 - this is made up of 9 savings pots

    Virgin Credit Card (0% Jul 25) £3150 [£50 p/m]
    Natwest credit card (0% Dec 25) £1826.45 [£50 p/m]
    Dad Loan £2125 [£100 p/m repayment]

    Currently stands as

    Monzo savings Total £5835.61
    - EF £950
    - CC Repayments £1875
    - Month Ahead Pot £10.61
    - Sinking Fund £3000 - this is now made up of 6 savings pots - I merged some and reduced car pot due to new car costing less on insurance and tax

    Virgin Credit Card (0% Jul 25) £3100 [£50 p/m]
    Natwest credit card (0% Dec 25) £1500 [£50 p/m]
    Dad Loan £5100 [£100 p/m repayment]

So Dad loan obviously jumped due to the car. But happy with natwest going down so much, requesting the refunds really helped with that. Monzo Total savings has increased even if it's had some shifting about. I feel like my sinking fund is more realistic and i decided to cancel renewing a few subscriptions and cut back on Xmas and birthdays.

On top of my standard monthly repayments i have £250 from this month's pay to go towards debt Repayments and Sinking fund. My sinking fund is back to being full up but do need to put £50 back into emergency fund. So that leaves £200 to go towards debt repayments.

I have decided to use my round up to go into month ahead pot as you have to give 24hes notice on that one so it's not as easy to take it back out when funds get low. I'll use vinted sales to fill my football pot up to £100 and then the rest can go in month ahead pot. I have decided to take some of pressure off myself and move my debt free date back to July again. That way I can focus on my month ahead pot and let the debt repayments just tick over. Once my month ahead pot is full I will the start focusing on extra debt payments then what is already planned. But I want that month ahead first which is likely to take me a while to get to.
