    Sounds like a nice Friday.
i struggle with lunchtime kick-offs and the 8 o'clock mid week kick-offs.  If my team lose on a Saturday lunchtime it really messes up the day as I'm forced to avoid radio and tv so I don't hear negative things about them, even if they fully deserve negative feedback.
my team are doing ok at the moment (famous last words).
Yes we had a mid week thrashing. So not sure how I feel about tomorrow. I also don't like 8pm Friday night kick offs! Haven't had a mid week home game yet next one isn't until November now. I work in office on weds so either get home late Tuesday and up early weds or up early weds and have to stay awake long enough for football. Stupid Sky tv changing the kick off times!

Quiet weekend for me in the end. Decided against going to football as I've hurt my knee and didn't fancy the 3 flights of stairs or the walk to and from station.

Popped to Asda and Lidl yesterday, got a few non grocery bits in Asda so that's come out my other fund. Shouldn't need anything other than Milk maybe before weekend.

Hoping for non spend day until Wednesday now when go to office and probably tesco for milk on way home. No plans Thursday or Friday either.

Though just remembered I need to ring DVLA tomorrow about my V5 as haven't received it yet. So they may charge me £25 to send a new one. I'm also going to chase my car tax refund for my previous car as well.

My DH had to contact DVLA when we bought a new to us car and didn't get the V5 and they just sent it without charging so definitely worth a call.

Thanks I'm hoping I won't be charged but I saw on their website that if it's been over 6 weeks they may charge £25. So will have to wait and see what they say when I call tomorrow

Whole thing is a massive headache. Called DVLA and they stated they weren't aware of the change for my new car or my old one. So I rang the car place, they sorted out my old car right away but new one more complicated. The v5 they had was an old one, so they dvla aren't even sure how I taxed it. Apparently post office would have filled a form out, I remember them taking my details but can't remember if I signed anything. It was 7 weeks ago. So been told to give it a few more weeks then send in a form with the new keeper slip and they should issue a new one for free. Just have to wait now to see whether my car tax refund is from September or November as they only do whole months. If it's November I will chase the car company again for the lost money as its £15 a month up to end of December so should be £60 back.

Good luck with sorting that out @Sarahwithlove.  What a nightmare but at least DVLA are being reasonable and saying they won't charge you.

I know I'm hoping the whole thing might sort itself out but doubt it somehow. The sales company have completed the form for dvla and posted it to me today so I can check it, sign it and send with the new keeper slip if I don't hear anything.

Thank you. I got a cheque through for 2 months of car tax for my previous car. So at least that's sorted though it was only 2 rather than 4 months. Might send an email to the car sales people about it as the delay was their fault so now I'm £30 short.

    Hopefully my v5 follows shortly
