One things I've not seen is anyone mentioning is whether they've been successful in getting the £200 for joint accounts, especially after the person has also received £200 for sole nationwide accounts. Anyone?0

Just opened my FlexDirect account. Set the switch date to be from the 13th Nov (in a couple of weeks) to let both my DD’s collect from my old account. Gotta wait a few days to register for the Nationwide app but I’m keen to get the 8% saver opened so I can start moving the cash out of NatWest’s 6% saver.0

If my direct debits aren’t showing yet, can I still start the switch and set the switch to the latest date possible to allow them to show?0

Christians Against Poverty solved my debt problem, when all other debt charities failed. Give them a call !! ( You don't have to be a Christian ! )

Now, to get another £200 as it is so easy with Nationwide we're thinking where we could get hassle free a joint account to switch also to Nationwide. Metro bank offers joint accounts but you have to visit a branch according to their website and there is none around so not an option. Was thinking Starling as they don't do hard searches, offer joint accounts, participate in CASS and we don't see a reason why we would want to keep an account with them anyway. Would that work?
Also, once switch completed we don't really have a need for the Nationwide joint account so we would leave it dormant for any future joint account switch offers.0 -
It was hard work opening a joint account, had to open a sole one first then add the other person on afterwards, we did it last year through Natwest and just kept it open waiting for this offer, once you have it set up and got the direct debits set up you will be good to go.1
