Lloyds £175 switching offer, 19/9/23 to 14/11/23

The fee is always debited, and it's usually credited back the same day.0

It won't disappear, but an entry waiving the fee will appear shortly.fryster said:Quick question about the £3 fee. I've paid in £2000 last month and this month to avoid the fee. Today a £3 debit has shown up on the account for the monthly fee. Will this disappear off again as I've met the criteria?1 -
This is just a quirk of how the CL account works. Sometimes it appears very late in the day, but yes there will be a separate fee credit to offset the fee that has been taken.1

Think the Tcs and Cs state this offer finishes after 14 Nov. I have requested a switch today and earliest date was the 14th, assume this should in theory just about be ok to obtain the £175? Thanks0

There's plenty of time still. You only need to start the switch by 14th Nov, it doesn't need to complete before thenKhaderbhai said:Think the Tcs and Cs state this offer finishes after 14 Nov. Did anyone have any issues opening the account? I did it late on Weds night, and was told I was accepted, carried on through the application and then on the final screen it said the application needed to be reviewed. Since then, I have heard absolutely nothing, no email, text etc., but I have had a a soft and hard search show up on my credit file. Do I just need to wait? I have tried to call but have not actually made it through to anyone as the wait times are ridiculous! Annoyingly, my husband has just applied and has his account number already 🙄0

I had something similar happen where it didn't get opened after completing the application and I got an email saying they'll email again when I've been approved. Eventually that evening I got another email to do an ID check. Unfortunately their online ID checking system seems non-functional as I never got a response from it after completing it, and instead had to go into branch to get it sorted. After my ID was checked in branch instead it was opened instantly though.karenb51 said:Did anyone have any issues opening the account? Ah thanks - that sounds promising then! I did manage to get through on the phone but the switching department was closed. Will wait and see if anything appears over the next few days and call again next weekRawrzy said:I had something similar happen where it didn't get opened after completing the application and I got an email saying they'll email again when I've been approved. Has anyone tried the switch with a pre-existing club Lloyds account? T&C says a bonus won't be paid but I'm wondering what the reality is..0
