So if you were already a Halifax customer, did you recently get paid by Halifax to switch?  What I'm trying to find out is whether Lloyds are still paying Halifax customers even though customers have already received a switch incentive from Halifax.

I was already a Lloyds classic current account customer before (so didn't have to sign up or anything)

I applied for the switch on 19th Sept and got the Bonus on 25th Sept

I've got some good news everyone!  I can now confirm that even though I've only recently received a Halifax £150 switch incentive, I've now also received the Lloyds £175 switch incentive too - Happy Days!

Just opened the Lloyds account today, 27th Sept, but cannot log in yet because obviously i have no activation code for the app. Does anyone know if I will still be charged the £3 fee for this first month if I don't pay in any money 'till I get the code which will probably be next month?

Not from LBG but I did get £175 from First Direct despite my having opened 2 HSBC current accounts since 2020. I was also able to accidentally get each £200 from Ulster and Natwest as part of their recent switching offer despite having received £150 from RBS last year.

I was unlucky with FD, they switched it but I did not get any incentive.

No way!  Congratulations! How's that even possible?  Are you an existing Halifax customer?

Yes, Lloyds is very quick in paying incentive. That was my personal experience
