Nowhere near putting the heating on . I resist temptation until October. Plenty of layers until then. Mixed sunshine and warmer here today.
Had to go and have a repeat blood test this morning. Then bought some nail polish remover and some facial wash. Things I need not want.
I also bought 3 hardback books for 50p each in the animal charity shop.
Hope everyone is having a good day 😊I am a Senior Ambassador on the Competitions Time Board and the Old Style MoneySaving Board.

Good Morning Everyone
Well I need to be accountable for every penny I spend. As I have been overspending. I know what is causing it . It is a due to the fact of my mom's declining health and the thought that of her one day passing away. After taking me 5 years to lose 3 stones in weight, I am not about to take to food for comfort. So every day . I will list my spends including DD's to keep me accountable.
I have always been good with money. But over buying items does not make me feel happy.
I am listing things I do not need on the V.
Also in my 60' s . I have gained a hearing due to age related reasons.
Have a good day.I am a Senior Ambassador on the Competitions Time Board and the Old Style MoneySaving Board.

Make the most of the time with your mum and enjoy making memories rather than buying things. You're very lucky to still have her in your 60s. Sadly mine only made it to one week after my 40th birthday.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

I sent the receipts and claim forms for the dentist, optician and chiropodist to the Hospital Saturday Fund.
I keep a cardigan handy, and have got my old sheepskin slippers out, and a shawl for reading in bed. It gets a bit chilly in the evening, but not ready to start adding extra layers of clothing yet.
I have started to make batches of blitzed vegetable soups to have a mug with lunch, using up the marrows in tomato and red lentil soup, and parsnip and lentil soup. It is a good way to use up the cauliflower leaves and broccoli stalks and whatever vegetables are left in the fridge. A medium chicken, 30% off at Aldi, has made meals for the two of us all week. Yesterday I stripped the carcass of the last scraps, simmered the bones for stock, and made chicken and mushroom risotto with lots of vegetables and not much rice, and a pot of chicken and sweetcorn soup.
