More a fan of nostaligia! I like to see performers I haven't already seen at the tail end of their careers to make sure I don't miss out - Frankie Valli and Tony Bennet being 2 examples.
We saw Bob Dylan a few years back.  Big disappointment as while the songs were good he didn't engage with the audience at all.  On the other hand we also saw Leonard Cohen on his last tour before he died and I swear he was making love to everyone in the crowd who were practically swooning at his feet.  Men included.

And just for status.....I have a picture of my dad with Frankie Valli.
Ooh! I must see Neil Sedaka, he really is a favourite although from another time! And The Kinks' Ray Davies - saw his show the day Bowie died and he paid tribute at the end of the show.

Having seen several approaching their twilight years, I would suggest seeing them earlier than the tail end.... Bob Dylan, Robert Plant & Status Quo were definitely better the previous time I saw them!

He's playing in the R4 Piano Room atm - very impressive!

The person I would see time and time again is Trevor Horn, he had a directional hand in so many hits of the eighties and to see him play live is such a joy.
