2 years 2 months...till I'm 60.. I'm carer...but I'm looking after my current service user..on my own...used to be 3 of us...so I have to stretch my hours....have empathy with service user.. but still draining...at 60 my actuarial reduction..will be reduced by 2/3 ..but will do casual work with client if needed...also been putting money into stocks and shares isa...last few years..prepared to live basically...for more time off3

Same here! Saw Tony Hadley last year - he still has an amazing voice and the concert turned back the clock for me for a few precious hoursNewly retired and looking forward to

The person I would see time and time again is Trevor Horn, he had a directional hand in so many hits of the eighties and to see him play live is such a joy.No man is worth crawling on this earth.

Well it was predictably boring- just like any other day really.
I am a carer for my husband who is partially sighted and has mobility issues, as well as my 34 yr old son with Autism, so going out anywhere is a challenge. Neither of them acknowledged that it was my birthday, regardless of it being a “biggie”, despite my wearing a big pink badge with 60 emblazoned on it!On the plus side I will not now have to pay for any future prescriptions!15
