Afternoon all
Anna sorry about your DH.
Denise , hope dh's appointments go well, my DH has Knee appointment Tuesday at one hospital , his laser treatment Thursday at different hospital!
I wasn't on here yesterday as was busy in the day then we went to see Jo Pasquale last night, so funny 😂😂 i went group this morning , gained 1lb which i am ok with as holiday and i changed from light summer dress to winter clothes and i am bottom half of target stillstraight from group to make mum for flu jab and shopping been home about an hr, so sitting chilling with a cuppa for 5 mins and catching up
@NornIronRose i more often than not have 1 hexa as was 1 when myself , Denise, maman, Beanie etc got to target but the other one is always there if i need it, today i will use both and hexb, i don't always have a b , never have but i eat tonnes of fruit and veg and get fibre that way also. If you want me to post some pictures of my meals i will, i am a big eater and have eaten like this since i started SW but i am not a snacker . Do you realise tinned peaches are synned?

Well done on your losses @MrsPorridge and @Longwalker. 👏👏👏 We always want more but all losses are good. 👍
Have a great time in Tuscany @Longwalker. It's good to have a plan for when you return. I always wear leggings and my thinnest, lightest top to WI. In winter, I just layer up and take the layers off to step on the scales.
Try not to think of SW as a diet @NornIronRose. You don't need to cut out carbs or syns and do try to have your HEXs as often as possible. SW is really just a simple formula for healthy eating. It's not about how much you eat but eating the right things in the right proportions. It's really important that you have at least a third of your food as Speed fruit and veg. I tend to have that across the day rather than every meal but it's essential that you have Speed not just free food.
Good to see you posting again @annabanana82. You're right that a carvery is one of the better choices for eating out but try to swerve quickly past the giant Yorkshire puddings! 🤣
Glad to hear you and your mum had a good night out @bubbs. 😊 Shame about the little gain but not bad after a good holiday. 👍
You'll get to know all the local hospitals @joedenise. 🤞your DH gets the go ahead for his eyes today.
Today's EE plan -
B- HEB porridge, HEA milk, berries (S), banana (F)
L- beef and vegetable soup (P, S, F)
D- chicken supreme (P, S, HEA 2) , roast potato cubes (F), carrots (S)
Syns - weekend wine 😁

Maman, i am not bothered as bottom end of target and did swap from a summer dress that weighs zilch too leggins and heavier top but these will be my WI clothes now till next summer 😂😂
Also i enjoyed 2 lots of fish and chips, ice cream, half a pizza and tuna mayo baguette and i was back on it soon as i came back so could have been about a 3-4lb gain reallySealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance:1 -
It's nice to be back @maman fortunately I don't like Yorkshire puddings so easy to pass over those. And my Son's birthday cake is not being cut tomorrow, will be left for him and his flatmates to eat.We went out to buy a few birthday gifts today, stopped in subway for lunch and had a salad, I'm disappointed they've stopped the spinach and sriracha sauce. X spicy Chipotle was a little too hot for me!
Enjoy Tuscany @longwalker we're still trying to decide on next year's holiday, my OH and I have very different ideas!Make £2023 in 2023 (#36) £3479.30/£2023
Make £2024 in 2024...1 -
MIA another week. Work is horrendous, only word to describe it, and stress levels for us that are left to pick up the pieces are at an all time high. Boss added another two projects to our workload on Friday so she’s caring not a jot. Anyhoo another week closer for me 🥳🥳🤣
Got loads of pages to catch up on. Have a lovely holiday @Longwalker Tuscany is on my list!Welcome onboard @NornIronRose we’re a supportive, helpful wee group.
STS for me today. Was expecting a loss but in all honesty, meals have been fine but I’ve not had a lot of speed this week and actually not eaten a lot. Missed dinner twice as I was just too tired and fluid intake’s not been great either.
So, completing a food diary for next week and I’ve menu planned and shopped today. Picking up a TGTG bag from Morrisons shortly, hope it’s all fruit and veg 🤣1 -
Got home about 5 minutes ago and having got the dinner on I'm just having a cuppa before eating! Only need to cook some rice (quicker than potatoes) and reheat the beef stew so won't be long.
DH can probably have the op but apparently his cornea on his right eye (the one with the bad cataract) is much weaker than it should be so they won't do the op until after he's seen a corneal specialist as they want their opinion before going ahead as it's a possibility they'll need to do the cataract and corneal replacement in the same op! He was thinking about going to Benenden if the wait was too long but now he's going to wait until after he's seen the corneal specialist and see what they have to say.
Well done to all the losers and well done @bubbs on just a small gain and still being in target.
Enjoy your holiday in Tuscany @Longwalker.
Right off to have dinner!

Bubbs I've been checking everything in case I accidentally eat something I shouldn't.
Bought peach slices in juice before I had the app working but now know that the difference in price isn't worth it.
In juice 94p and 3.5 syns for 100g.
In syrup 35p and 3 syns per 100g. No contest.
Joedenise hope dh gets to see a good specialist and gets the news he hopes for.2 -

That was a long day @joedenise. How long before DH gets to see the specialist? Any idea? 🤔
I make up my own rice pouches for the freezer. They only take a few minutes in the microwave to cook from frozen. The main reason I do it is because we like brown rice and that takes longer to cook but I do find it easier to batch cook and ping. I made 4 yesterday.
Frozen berries would be good with a meringue nest @NornIronRose. You can give them a quick ping in the microwave if you haven't pre planned or otherwise try a pear or banana. All cheaper and syn free.2 -
I like a tinned peach now and again. Also frozen berries but didn't have any. Pear and banana mixed with the berries would be good. Finished work for today hopefully so just boiled some eggs to have with a big salad.
Had a baby bel and it kind of satisfied but even the cat didn't want a wee bit and she is usually all up in my face if I have cheese lol. Rubbery cheesiness.1
