So write to the claimant and tell them to send you a copy of the N279 as they were required to do by the Court Procedure Rules (CPRs)
Do I have to do so? isn't this document enough evidence to hold? why do I have to contact the claimant?

Why are you happy to put up with the Claimant's slapdash processes?

Shouldn't take you much more than ten minutes to ask them for a copy of the N279... maybe even quicker to do that than argue further.   :)

When you have that Notice of Discontinuance, please post a copy here and it will be added to the several hundred others that have been collected. The complete file will be passed to Government in due course to demonstrate the devious methods of these companies.

It won't because this was a claim that (now it's over) I can now say was filed by Devere themselves, whose owner (an ex JP I think) was clearly hoping to get it churned through their apparent 'mates' at Bournemouth/Poole court.

This OP swiftly switched their address to Portsmouth and hey presto, Devere discontinued.  No need for a copy  of the NoD in this case as it was confirmed by the court.

    Yay!  Well swerved!

ANOTHER DEVERE ONE BITES THE DUST!

Very happy it worked.  We don't often see Devere PCN cases, let alone court claims these days.they used to be prolific.
