No Octo-notification here yet so it looks like they're still reaching different accounts at slightly different times as they did last year. Have been able to opt-in manually though but only after updating the Octo-app twice.
There's also now an official Octo-channel thing on the Whatsapp app for anyone who hasn't seen it yet, which sends you a Whatsapp message when saving sessions are announced. Perhaps a more consistent way of quickly getting the notification to everyone at once as the emails tend to come out slowly.Moo…0 -

I am a part of the WhatsApp message and follow them on twitter so got notifications that way.0 -

Fun "Fact"
- According to this source Octopus Energy have "Some 2.6 million Octopus smart meter customers who are eligible to join the initiative", they will not be emailing "nearly 6 million customers" about saving sessions on 16th November as it would not be appropriate emailing customers who do not have smart meters.

Just to confirm, no IDA this year? So, the same calculation as last year for everything else but without the IDA applied?0

Seems like all the companies are running energy saving sessions tomorrow although times may be slightly different.
Hugo (app based) are paying £3 per kwh (possibly less 20%) but this is the key bit:
If you have an Export MPAN and can export during the Event, you will get an additional £3 per kWh. Subject to your Export MPAN data being available.
Our export is unfortunately not readable (yet, hopefully I am getting Scottish Power to rectify this) but if you have batteries then this seems like a much bigger win than trying to time shift normal usage.
Not sure if any of the other providers are paying out for export?
