All sounds good but wait for the it only benefits the rich statement. Can't complain we did well out of the last DFS scheme and will probably take part just for the fun of it not the reward this time round we love a roaring log burner and running things off our little power station....or popping downt pub1

I am hoping to benefit from the DFS through increased battery exports to the grid this year - app provider Hugo are hoping to support this. However I am struggling to be show half hourly export data from my smart meter is available. n3nrgy only downloads import data and won't accept my export mpan (obtained from UK Power networks). I was previously on a trial with ovo on they paid me a SEG type payment based on export data for the smets 1 smart meter they installed. I am now with EDF who installed a smets 2 smart meter but they say remote access to half hourly export data is not available (at least through them).
I cold potentially export 10kwh during a 2 hour DFS event so if there were 10 in the year at £3 per kwh this would make a tasty £300
Does anyone have any insight?I think....0 -
I responded to the email Hugo sent a week ago, inviting you to message them via their app to check if they can see your export MPAN. As yet, I have had no reply.
Anyone else?
My battery is only 4.2kWh usable and I need some of that for cooking our tea - but I would happily give them 3kWh at £3 a go, and then run the house for the evening at 30.25p/kWh until the next Octopus Go cheap rate. And that genuinely would be helping the grid.2 -
