I took part via loop yesterday but how do I know the results?0

When I wasn't around to take advantage of the 3 hour 'In Day Adjustment' period, my average saving was less than 50p.
When I was around to take advantage of the 3 hour 'In Day Adjustment' period, my average saving was around £5.
My conclusion is, that for me, it is just not worth the effort without the 'In Day Adjustment'. For that reason I am out.
So, yesterday, I took part to establish just how poor my return would be under the new arrangements (without the 3 hour 'In Day Adjustment' period).
With my usage already being very low during the peak period, the scope for any worthwhile savings was non-existent. A quick calculation shows, with an almost a complete electricity shut down between 5.30pm and 6.30pm yesterday my 'return' is likely to be in the region of 27p.
The only way I could improve my 'return' is by increasing my usage at peak times (5pm and 7pm), to create a higher baseline, against which I could make bigger savings during the next event. Clearly, such an approach would work against the purpose of driving demand away with from peak times.
Consequently, I see no point in actively taking part in future sessions; I will sign up, in the hope of winning a few extra points/prizes, but the Demand Flexibility Service, in its current format, for me is just not worth the effort.0 -

My baseline for 5pm-6pm yesterday (BG's hour) was 0.147kwh and I cut it down to 0.06 from my own workings out. Which is 26p under their £3/kWh, but they're rounding each session up to £1.2

How did you work out your baseline?
I know I used 30wh between 5 and 6 yesterday.0 -

So we normally consume 1.1kwh on average for 17:30-18:30 over the previous 10 days to the event. We actually used 90wh so could get £2.25 ush in Octopoints.

Lucky I'm not on Agile or I'd have been avoiding usage and would have a much lower baseline.1
