With the first event now out of the way there’s five scheduled test sessions left to go before the end of the year (plus the possibility of extra live events), so we should expect the frequency of DFS events to pick up for the next few weeks. Will be a nice little Christmas bonus for anyone exporting I’m sure!

Sky news are reporting the first live event for the DFS will take place tomorrow evening (Wednesday) from 5pm to 6.30pm.
Had a notification from Octopus offering £4 per unit saved.3 -

Why am i being paid £1.03 for a test then and what is the difference?
All the events are live, i remember it happening while it was happening.

Something that's lost without the monetary rewards of last year as feared in another thread.0 -

Yes bad Octopus for trying to get people onto a cheaper payment method like direct debit. Slap that octopus. ✋ 🐙 (Note I will have to check this statement that Octopus is indeed cheaper paid by DD)
Of course you don't have to be in a pay upfront scheme on direct debit you can pay whole bill variable monthly direct debit so same as receiving a bill every month and paying it in full in arrears.1
