Lots of housework done today before we are away for a couple of days visiting eldest daughter. Youngest is very excited as I've just booked them to go and see the barbie movie, I'm not going as cinema tickets are expensive and that my excuse and I'm sticking to it. Barbie lost me a nsd🙄

Very hot today and I hadn't slept well, but got some things done:

Washed my hair and let it dry in the sun

Kitchen clean up

Load of washing done and dried on the line outside

Watered the garden pots, and moved the (full) green bin round to the front of the house to make it easier to put out later in the week

Froze the rest of the chicken curry I made over the weekend

Made naan bread pizzas for dinner, with the veg I had roasted as the topping, along with some HM tomato sauce and grated cheese

Priced up some new items for my sales unit and took them down to the shop. Not much of the stock had shifted over the weekend, so I bought some items back and put them away. Phew!

Small (thank goodness!) pile of ironing done and put away.

NSD 3 - I decided not to go shopping today but to leave it till tomorrow

Grateful today for getting things done, even though I didn't feel like it, for a tidy garden after my efforts at the weekend and to OH for restoring some of my sales stock.

Today is a marvelous day. My visitors have gone.  I spent 2 hours on a car park waiting for the school coach to come back. But my house is mine again. Hooray!

Today I am grateful for dc's first day back going ok, for my morning run, for all the friendly people at the gym, for a big salad at lunchtime along with fresh rasps, for audiobooks.

Super busy work day, even after hours. So I'll catch up properly tomorrow. 

Super grateful for
* a colleague that went above and beyond to help and it a fabulous teacher 
* good meeting with the immediate boss
* loads of brain waves in relation to figuring out this new fancy assay
* geography games with DS

The belt must've come loose on the washing machine, so it was all dripping wet when I hung the washing on the line. Work went ok. Received a message from DH mid-morning to say he was in a&e with a temperature. He'd gone to town for his blood test.  Thankfully he was discharged the afternoon & I was able to pick him up from the end of the road, after I'd finished work, so he didn't have to walk the 5 miles home.

A friend had been over to cut DS2's hair, but had dropped her clipper heads as she left the house, so I walked to her house to drop them off. Bumped into DS3 walking home, so he waited for me & we walked back together.

Did 2 sewing jobs after tea.

Grateful for DH getting to come home again, walking home with DS3, good TV programmes
