Today I am grateful for starting to get used to the habits I'm implementing, for a quiet day, for the noise of happy children playing outside, for the lovely receptionist at dc's school, for leftovers.

@abundant1972. It took me a year!
I did it mainly to try & help me with my walking.
I did have periods of not keeping my trigger foods in the house & stopped buying multipacks of treats which as a MSE~er I found hard!I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. Today I am too tired to live, was awake all night, finally got 2.5 hours sleep, and have been a zombie all day.Zombie me changed pillow cases and straightened beds, put 3 loads of laundry on, and out on the line. Did the washing up twice and reordered the fridge. Bins and recycling dealt with. Doesn't seem much, but you can't be a SuperTurtle every day. Had a bath, and kept the house cool with all the windows open and a good breeze blowing through in the 30 heat. Spent nothing, made £8 on p/a, and was actually too tired to make a meal plan for the week. I am a total mess right now. If I don't sleep tonight I honestly don't know what I will do. This sucks.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

More rubbish and recycling collected and binned (including throwing away furry food from their fridge), bathroom sink wiped, the worst part of the kitchen floor swept after dealing with about 3 bags of assorted tools/ garden stuff and cleaning products. Too dark in there to do more (need to get more fairy lights up).
Grateful for rolls of assorted bin bags, earlier sortings that have left things in groups, books and tv series.7 -
Pretty full on day starting with supporting my friend with her garden. Her lawn🤣 is incredibly patchy and really is just a series of tufts. Mowing it is like riding a roadeo. Anyway I will just keep at it and hopefully it will improve🙄. Spent 2 and half hours trying to make a silk purse out of a pigs ear.
Made it to York in one piece, room is really spacious and bathroom fully adapted. Met ED at her work place and had mocktails. Looking forward to tomorrow, picnic etc is on the cards.

Forgot to post yesterday…
Grateful for positive messages from Mum who is on holiday, for Mum getting the confidence to travel solo (no stopping her now by the sound of it), for another online sale, for getting the bag of donations out of my house and off to the CS, for our holiday edging closer, and this coughing cold I’ve got starting to shift.NST 🐢 & MF before 40 🤸9 -
Had a lovely day in York with the girls. So much nicer now that they are older. No bickering, no one upmanship, no falling out, so pleasent. Actually makes me want to spend time with them together rather than running for the hills. Spendy day but it was planned.
Grateful for
1)quality time together
2)pedestrised roads
3)been allowed time to look round an art gallery.

Sorry I didn't post yesterday, so stayed in the bath & finished my book, then was too tired to post!
Grateful for doing yoga, a good day at work, being a listening ear for a colleague who's struggling with homelife
Today I didn't do yoga, stopped at the shop to buy marshmallows for my colleague. Work was a nightmare, lots if tantrums - the kids, not me! Shattered by 3.30. Dropped sewing off, then dashed home to meet another customer. Then collapsed on the settee, caught up with things in my phone & played some games. After tea I shortened 2 pairs of trousers
Grateful for winning 2 tickets for Saturday night to see an ACDC tribute band, messages of thanks from the teacher I worked with most of this week so far, my sewing pile going down & my colleague taking her DD to the Dr & getting more help/support for her mental healthUse it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!
If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours 😃

Yesterday I took 2 bags of books to the cs. On the way there, I passed a woman in a shop doorway holding a tiny bay (less than 3 weeks old) so I delved into my coin jar and pushed a coin into the baby's and and said "Silver for the baby". Not sure how prevalent this is but it made everyone in the shop go 'ahh' (so baby might have ended up with quite a haul -we can't start our baby turtles saving too soon).
Reached the Mall (various bits of my leg were hurting before I set off) and the 'book shop' cs has closed. Donated them at one of the other 2 cs in there and spent some time perusing their wares. Some good black dresses in my size and a lot of the long chunky knit cardigans I've been looking for (for about the last 5 years). Some women's but mostly men's and even a black jacket or two. I'm going to mull over before I go back so I don't go overboard. I did go through a stack of magazines and came home with £4 worth of craft and cross stitch mags (6 in total). The pricing policy was bewildering - they wanted £3 for a thick multi craft book (more than half the original price) and others at £1.50, £1 and 50p but the assistant wisely opted for a bundle price. I picked 2 for specific cross stitch patterns (the Snowman and Peter Rabbit) and others for templates and the paper (cutting out) and ideas but will mainly do my own thing. I went in the Werks without buying anything.
Getting home was extremely difficult (sat on the walker and scooted backwards where possible) and some things dropped off the 'to do' list to compensate. More rubbish/ recycling had gone out earlier, a couple of extra grooming bits got tagged on and I asked next door for contact details for their gardener. The cs I visited yesterday. The first had 3 matching lamps - plain silver poles with a white globe (slightly flattened and open at the top) but I need to think if I have space and how I can get them back home. I need to rethink my lighting (can no longer replace ceiling lights) and these looked 'useful'. the second one is nearer to home and they had a basket of wooden bricks for £3 (the more expensive ones with garden/ architecture images but would need to store for another year at least) and also a small basket of mixed wool, tapestry and embroidery threads priced at 5 for a £1. I didn't buy the whole basket (I'm trying to reduce my craft supplies) but it's something to bear in mind if I need particular colours to finish a project.
I ate and was later gifted part of DS3's meal (chips, fine noodles and meat/ prawns in curry sauce). I ate some for supper and have just picked out all the chips (he stirs it all in together) and eaten the rest. Today I have a list of things I want to 'move on a stage' but probably need to be fairly undemanding physically and rest when I need to. New bags of recycling have been started - I've used up 2 cleaning products in the bathroom (to substitute for the 'mystery disappearance of cleaning items) and repurposed another couple and am nearly done finishing off a large pot of basic cream (plus I have my eye on several toiletries with a minimal amount left and will swoop when I can (if they start a new one I'll use the dregs to clean the fixtures).
Grateful for finding winter woolies in my size and price range (under a fiver rather than £60 - £80). There was even a massively discounted cardigan for £199, original price £499 - yes whole pounds). Yes it was cashmere, yes it was gorgeous but I'd probably spill beetroot down it the first time I wore it. Easy care all the way for me.
Grateful for feeling excited about paper crafts I can do (paper chains and rows of card bunting (stars/ hearts/ bunnies) and for clearing the clutter one bag/ shelf/ drawer at a time.

As I'd already spent money I did an online order last night. Nothing exciting just mundane necessities (holding off on the toilet paper for now, I'll order when I put the next two packs in the bathroom bin (storage stool).6
