I have found that I can select the no-menu option as suggested, but if I then select the 'All Boards' link under Quick Links then the drop down menus reappear and the no menu option has to be re-selected.0

Weird, switching to show then back to hide (again) fixed it.

They seem to still be popping up for me on some pages but not others even though I've marked it as DO NOT SHOW

They suddenly started showing for me today for the first time since yonks ago when the off option became available. Tried to turn them off again and the setting says I have but to no effect. Even logging off and back on does not work.
