Same for me, they started appearing again using Chrome, checked the original post and the hide option is still selected, selected it again anyway and dropdowns still appear.

I was about to report the same thing.

As a temporary workaround to save my sanity (or what's left of it), I've turned on my ad-blocker for this site and set it to block the drop-down menu so that it doesn't appear.

Same for me on Chrome, I've tried all sorts to get it back to no avail, it's driving me loopy!

Hi everyone

We had a big update yesterday that changed the way the menu works in a big way. It completely breaks our little tweak to hide the menu.

I'll look into if there's another way to do it

Used the Element Picker in UBlock Origin to remove the menus, what I previously used before the "fix".  Quick links sill available at the bottom of the page.
