    - When bought house £315,995 mortgage debt and end date at start = October 2039 - now £222,084
    - OPs to mortgage = £12,881 Estd. interest saved = £6,203 to date
    c. 16 months reduction in term
    Fixed rate 3.85% ends October 2030

    I love the sound of your life Fortune.  Spending a bit more time together, doing healthy things and sewing!  My idea of heaven - I've a long way to go but I'm following in your wake :smiley:

    ps when I became debt-free, it was a strange feeling, sort of 'what now'.  Of course what now was becoming mortgage free, so definitely keep us posted as to how it is.
