Feeling particularly bleh today. Hoping it's the final hurrah of cold and height of period and tomorrow I'll feel enthused and energised
Brunch of mini fry-up using things that needed using
Tidy admin comping
Laundry
Fell asleep having sat down on the bed for 'two ticks'
Friend donated a small bag of compost plus a bottle of Baileys and a pair of pyjamas she got for Christmas but doesn't need which is very kind of her. I'll buy her some flowers tomorrow to say thank you
For the third day in a row it has rained when the forecast said it would be dry which is making plans tenuous. I want to catch up on some steps and have some nice time out with Mr PIP but I don't want to be traipsing round in grim weather when trying to shake off this cold
We've decided to try to do a proper walk tomorrow and hopefully get some albeit chilly sunshine, so today we prepped dinner (cheesy potatoes with baked tomatoes) and went up high street for a couple of beers and a financial planning meeting- we didn't win the lottery again so presumably universe is saving it up for us for very soon
We've also cleaned an oven glove that had somehow got covered in cheese, washed an unusual decanter we may keep or sell, did a big clean of the cat basket, and wiped shoes that had got particularly grubby
The rest of the evening is eating delicious cheesy potatoes, possibly having a Baileys nightcap, and getting an early night

What an horrendous night the other night with the key and the bus 😞 Your periods seem to go on forever, I had an early menopause in my 40s and don’t miss having periods in the least, they were awful. Hope you get a decent night’s sleep tonight.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Thanks @Sun_Addict, and I feel like my life is permanently period, recovering from period, or feeling s*** due to imminent period! Praying for early menopause!0

Oh PiP I’m sorry you’re still feeling grim - and unplanned rain certainly isn’t going to help. I managed to get out while it was glorious this morning but did note some ominous clouds lurking, and noted that it was spotting with rain in the early afternoon when I popped out to the garden briefly. It must be a night for Baileys, I’ve had a glass (before MrEH got home from the rugby club, on the basis that the less I remind him it’s there, the less of it he will drink!) and very delicious it was too! I’ve also had a glass of coconut and caramel rum - which was equally delicious and is all mine so no need to hide THAT from anyone! It’s a pain on every level feeling that your monthly cycle dictates the things you can do, want to do, or indeed are able to do - I really can well and truly sympathise on this one. Perimenopause comes with its own challenges, but at least HRT patches help with a good many of those!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

I hope the weather is better tomorrow and you can enjoy a walk.
no Baileys for me please but I'll be brave and try to find something I like in the Harvey Nicolas hamper that you are planning to win.
hope the lady upstairs has a quiet night tonight.0 -
Thanks @EssexHebridean, glad you're having a yummy drinks night.
If only there were a women's vasectomy equivalent patch where if you weren't planning on conceiving you could just stick one on and opt the heck out of all the bodily nonsense!
Alas we must endeavour to be as brave as dear @Blackcats rummaging through a Harvey Nics hamper

One of those silly days of being unnecessarily tetchy- I'm sick of this cold and period is not helping, and nor is upstairs (230 and 630 last night).
Mr PIP now feeling like he's got a cold so I vetoed a long walk in these temperatures, he's generally got a strong constitution so hopefully will be able to fend it off by keeping warm and rested
Had a word with myself about getting a grip, I have strong views about no bad vibes allowed on a Sunday!
So;
Admin comping tidying
Entered some competitions, today I'm mostly looking forward to winning 10k but will also have a Valentine's hamper
Swept the front area (not a euphemism) and put loose leaves and branches in piles by a bush in case small animals can use it for warmth (very much not a euphemism!)
Mr PIP took himself back to bed, I went up the high street and got a bunch of lovely spring flowers for my friend and left them on her doorstep (with a message to check her doorstep)
I've prepped a comforting and nutritious veggie cottage pie for dinner, though eats everything cat is currently looking betrayed as I turned my back for one second and then caught him eating raw kidney beans
EDS has decided this is a great time to twist my toes so I keep cramping. Evening will be keeping feet and legs as rested as possible and a glass of red wine, and hopefully a decent night's sleep for both of us
Hope everyone is keeping warm and having a lovely restful Sunday x2 -
So hoping you get a quiet night tonight …. 🤞
The thought of your cat eating kidney beans had me roaring! 😂😂😂😂😂
