Our cat never only pukes once (her record so far is 6). I'm never sure what I did in a past life to give us this cat to live with us. I nearly said "own this cat" but we do not own her, she just tolerates me and loves my son. She's bitten all of his friends too but they still seem to like her.

I'm sorry that you had to wait for the bus. The HT says that waiting for buses makes his legs feel like they're on fire. Even just standing up on a full bus which most people can cope with makes him feel like he's in one of the inner circles of hell. As a 19 year old with an invisible disability he says he's not comfortable asking someones nana to stand up so that he can have the disabled seat.

I'm sorry that your day was awful but happy that you had wine. The HT has an exam tomorrow that he doesn't feel suitably equipped to take so I'm currently thankful for gin.

Would your HT use a sunflower lanyard for hidden disablities. They dont give any priority but at least let people know why he is using the disabled seats.
  • 🥂 @CRANKY40 hope HT's exam isn't as bad as he fears

Fab @Less_Talk_and_More_Action glad to have you on board

Congrats on your £50 PB win @LadyWithAPlan is it going in a pot or are you treating yourself? Definitely fairy lights all year round for me

My cat is such a drama cat when he vomits - loud yowls, whole body shuddering and heaving and then a teaspoon's worth of vomit, usually on the carpet or rug.
A few years ago I got stuck in the lift with my Chief Exec and 3 Directors (all male).  I knew I had a certain amount of time before I would need a trip to the loo as it was that time of the month.  I prayed for rescue, particularly when one of the directors said it was getting so hot he was going to take his shirt off!  I was so relieved when the fire brigade arrived to rescue us.  Still scarred by the experience.

Ps - very controversial trying to imply that egg, chips and beans is the same meal as omelette, chips and beans although I can see an advantage that with an omelette there will be no yolk to mingle inappropriately with bean juice.  Ham, egg and chips for my tea tomorrow NO beans.

I use mine on the train as occasionally I get help from the staff heaving my case on and off the train and once the guard or whatever they are these days saw me doing my best to run up the platform as the train was due out and let me sit in 1st class so I could recover until I had to move further up the tain as our platform is too short for the the longer tains.
  • (Late) evening all, knackered but in a nice way as had a few local beers with a bestie
And also because I woke myself up at 5am with a coughing fit then upstairs did her seemingly now regular lengthy stomp around

    But today's things:

    Admin comping tidying

Compost not reusable for cuttings but I put it outside on the spring bulbs that are shooting up for some protection as it's turning colder

    Tiny bit of work

Entered some competitions, today I'm mostly looking forward to winning a Harvey Nichols hamper but I would also like a dehumidifier because I'm glam like that

    Took christmas decorations down

    Cleaned the cat bowls

10 minute walk on the spot

Even wussier than usual situps, shower and hairwash, shoulder hurting a fair bit now

High street for reasonably priced necessities then met my friend and had a lovely catch up then dinner with Mr PIP which was the Lidl pizza I'd bought whilst out just in case we couldn't be bothered to cook, thank you to earlier today me 😁

That’s a nice mix of fun stuff and achievements there today PiP - but sympathies about having to do it all with a side order of shoulder pain.

just watched a “Hidden London Hangouts” YouTube thing all about the Camden junction system including a look at the old South Kentish Town station from trackside - reminded me that when we were up that way the other week we walked past The Pineapple just 10 minutes before it opened - if it had been raining any harder we’d have been ever so tempted to throw off the walk altogether and just hold on for them to open! 😂
