We have builders, plumber, and window cleaner here at same time tomorrow morning. How to coordinate this seems like a riddle, though I suspect the answer will be 'you waste your money and nothing actually gets effectively done'

I predict builder, plumber and window cleaner say they will be there at the same time but at least one of them will have "an emergency" and arrive at least an hour late. Our roofers were due at 8 yesterday but "had to get supplies" and arrived at 10 and then "had to get more supplies" and left at 3. A roofing emergency today means they couldn't come but they will 110%, absolutely, definitely, no doubt about it be here tomorrow at 8 🥴. Unless they are actually the same builders who are also due at your house tomorrow!

Ah bejesus @Blackcats why is it so impossible to find a single tradesperson who takes any pride in their professionalism. If any of mine start bragging like they're doing me a favour 'that we should have been on this job round Blackcats', I will march them over! This will take several days of marching so please send messenger on horseback with beer and biscuits

I cannot even be bothered to list the things that these builders are meant to sort out, some really quite concerning, and it's their own bloody build, not some ancient rickety abode. Feel sorry for my babba house, it's only existed for a few months and it already has so many issues. Definitely sage cleansing the f*** out of it when build works and legal works all done

I used to work in an estate agents that specialised in selling new builds. It was an eye opener the amount of issues that arose with brand new houses. The amount of customers who came in with their snagging lists was shocking.
