That looks very comfortable. You need a cat now! (or Soot will be packing his bags & looking up train times to London!)

2026's challenges: 1) To rebuild our Emergency Fund to at least £5k.
    2) To read 50 books (12/50) 3) The Re-Shrinking of Foxgloves 8.1kg/30kg
Remember....if you have to put it on a credit card, extend your overdraft or take out a loan to buy whatever it is, you probably can't afford it, as that's not your money, it's somebody else's!

    Haha, nice ptouch @Wanna_Bee_Free

Aw I can just see Soot turning up with his little cloth-bag on the end of a stick over his shoulder @foxgloves saying 'my meowmy never feeds me, never!'

I fully expect to wake up on it one morning with a fox or two asleep on me!

You get lairy laundry in East London @KajiKita 😂

Still waiting for builder's plumber to come round and see if washing machine should be producing very warm laundry. I suspect not but I needed clean basics and so I'm working on the hopeful 'if not properly clean, at least cleaner than before' basis

Sounds like your washing machine has been plumbed in the wrong way round. Most machines these days are cold water fill but maybe yours has been plumbed to the hot water instead!
