Shaving in the shower without a bath ledge;
Move the shower head away from you so you can access the warm water but not have it wash the shower gel or whatever you are using off your legs.
Make sure the shower base is non slippery.
Stand on one leg and lift the other to be shaved.
Periodically lower the leg and rest.
Swop.

If you find your hips are tight (mine often are after gardening) do some stretches before getting into the shower, particularly knees to chest.
Quite often I find that my balance is a bit off when I first start - a couple of fingers on the shower wall, the bottom of the shower rail etc helps. Then you will find you find your balance.
