Good luck for today. May the removals team arrive in a timely manner, be cheerful and helpful and the trains run to time. We will all be thinking of you today!

Didn't sleep well.
Woke up and cried within ten minutes.
Moving started off shambolically as they apparently needed double the men and lorry despite me having accurately listed contents. To my utter shame I had to apologise for my very shouty tone on the phone to their boss who was winding me right up, as I scared a mover. (Me and the movers were all friends soon after.)
Cost went up, third mover arrived, two van journeys needed (total nearly three hours instead of about an hour and a half travel time).
Mr PIP was stuck at build trying to juggle oven collection, virgin installation, and builders timings for them to plumb in washing machine and clear their stuff. And Mr PIP still has to return the car to North London tomorrow but a kind neighbour gave him a guest parking permit for today.
Thank goodness Mum was with me for moral support and help organising and taping boxes.Had to get train to build with heavy rucksack after being up and doing and all the thinging since 6am. By the time I got to train station it was 5pm.
Then had to find my way to the build and help unload and make decisions and organise things.
They finally went just over an hour and a half ago.Me and Mr PIP have cleared enough space in the bedroom to get into bed and have made the bed, we are now having a beer in the garden and resting our weary achey bodies, then we're going to have our chippie tea so generously paid for by @KajiKita as a moving-in-night gift ❤️
Then tomorrow on with the unpacking and cleaning and trying to get this build actually legally existing and all the other paperwork! Then we'll be able to fully celebrate. But very relieved the move is over

That sounds like a really tough process. Be really unambitious tomorrow if you can. Sleep in until 11am, only do absolutely necessities and try and slow the pace down a bit.
Hope you enjoy the chippy tea in your new home. Congratulations to you and Mr PiP ❤️😊 x

Sending you a virtual 'Happy New Home' card.
Don't wear yourself out tomorrow by trying to get everything shipshape in one day. As my late MIL was fond of saying, Rome wasn't built in a day!
