We don't currently have outdoors drying availability @WelshmansDaughter but living room in ludicrous sun did the job quick!

Knackered as sleep disrupted with hurty legs so sofa beer, free paper crossword and early night (unless the Spain Belgium game at 8pm is a banger 😁)

Hmmm. Depends on your definition of a banger. Personally wanting Belgium to win as their beers are second to none and the Spanish brews do not make the cut. 🤷‍♀️

    Usuals
    Packing
Some precious crockery bits over to build and sorting and cleaning there (mostly moving things around that will just need to be moved around again but at least some sense of temporary order has been gained).

Effing Magnet sent us the wrong size fitted kitchen for our oven despite us giving them exact measurements. No idea how we'll resolve this without having to get a whole new kitchen. I am simply letting Mr PIP deal with it or I will completely lose my sh**. Do not ever use Magnet, they have been absolutely dreadful in every way.

Quick drink with mum and local friend, now on the sofa ordering takeaway pizza as our monthly date as it has been a long and hot and tiring day.
Hope everyone is having a good weekend 🥂

Sorry to hear they’ve been so dire 😞 Our kitchen was from H0wdens and was fitted by a builder. Can’t fault H0wdens, units still spot on 8/9 years later. Also used them for our fitted wardrobes and flooring.

I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪

What a nightmare. If kitchen is still in stock should get a fix - but - if it is old stock that firm does have "outlet" stores or whatever they are called where old stock is sold off. I had to visit one some years after having my kitchen fitted as I needed another door and the kitchen was no longer stocked - went to the "end of line" place and they did not have the door but was able to order one.

Also, as an aside, they had the cutest kitchen set up. It had been built out of random bits of kitchen lines by some one with a good eye and the cost was so cheap. None of it matched but it looked fab.

Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!
