It’s quite remarkable how significant a temperature range we get over a relatively small island and not that much change in elevation ….

I have been informed that it was actually 33 degrees today, a mere 31 feels like 32 tomorrow though 👀

Heating?? Oh my giddy trousers.....have had to buy a new fan, sew a extra summer dress & am making sure all physical tasks on my job list are done between 7.30 & 10 a.m. Mind you, I am not a lover of heat. I'd be delighted if our summer temperatures never surpassed 24°.

2026's challenges: 1) To rebuild our Emergency Fund to at least £5k.
    2) To read 50 books (12/50) 3) The Re-Shrinking of Foxgloves 8.1kg/30kg
Remember....if you have to put it on a credit card, extend your overdraft or take out a loan to buy whatever it is, you probably can't afford it, as that's not your money, it's somebody else's!

In fairness, those of you currently bemoaning a lack of summer, be careful what you wish for, you would not want what London feels like at the moment!
