Ahem I may have amended my online shopping delivery to include a tub of ice cream and bought some lovely Scottish strawbs today too. My excuse is that I've had more dental work done and need to eat soft food 😳😉

😂 very apt description @Sun_Addict. It is meant to be cooling down a bit overnight but me and Mr PIP swear it's warmer than it was earlier and it was bloody hot earlier!
Ha thanks @KajiKita, not liking being nearly 200k in debt and not gonna get my North London place and my seaside place and my Lewes place without dedication! 😂 A gal can dream
Unfortunately not much money comes my way but not a single payment from anywhere in any form doesn't get at least a quid added to the OP pot
Absolutely acceptable on health grounds @teapot2
@beanielou I'm going to have to look out for some Scottish strawberries tomo

29° here atm. It's deceptive actually, as there's a decent breeze, but it is blowing hot air & it feels very humid. As it reached 34.5 here yesterday afternoon, I did think that 29 would feel like an improvement, but tbh, I can't really discern any difference. My sis & neff witnessed a nasty hit & run on their local London high street today. I think it was the first time they'd ventured out since the heatwave arrived.
2026's challenges: 1) To rebuild our Emergency Fund to at least £5k.
2) To read 50 books (12/50) 3) The Re-Shrinking of Foxgloves 8.1kg/30kg
Remember....if you have to put it on a credit card, extend your overdraft or take out a loan to buy whatever it is, you probably can't afford it, as that's not your money, it's somebody else's!4
