Around 29,000 lightning strikes recorded in the South England storm last night @foxgloves and most of them looked like they were very near, it was astonishing.
Absolutely agree, fortitude is for 30-31 degrees, above that is moaning time 😁 Tomorrow is 34 degrees feels like 42 in London according to Met Office 😭

Oh how perfectly horrid, @PennysIntoPounds. Though I have to admit that my moaning kicks in around 26 degrees so will be absolutely off the scale by the end of this week. At least one of the benefits of a maxi-dress is that one's pants can come off…..though I don't want to be like my friend who once forgot to put hers back on for going to Sainsbury's & had got halfway through her shopping before suddenly realising!
2026's challenges: 1) To rebuild our Emergency Fund to at least £5k.
2) To read 50 books (12/50) 3) The Re-Shrinking of Foxgloves 8.1kg/30kg
Remember....if you have to put it on a credit card, extend your overdraft or take out a loan to buy whatever it is, you probably can't afford it, as that's not your money, it's somebody else's!2 -

I was wearing a very good hot weather dress at the pub the other day and was at risk of a Marilyn Moment due to their big fan by the bar, so knicker caution obviously advised 😁

So hot @beanielou @WelshmansDaughter it is currently 28 feels like 35 and it is 9pm 😭
And it's not even period monster, at least then I'd know I didn't have to do period again for another month, ovulation madness is so bleedy and so ow, don't know why it's gone insane this month. Hopefully a last hurrah before menopause 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞
