@KajiKita SIL replied to dept saying she wanted it to be considered a formal complaint but obviously they don't want people complaining especially vulnerable people who may have more reason to complain, so you have to send a letter thus paying for postage and being able to get to a postbox, and of course the eight weeks start from when they receive it- or telephone them, which requires having a job in which you are able to make a call let alone be on hold during working hours, and hoping no-one overhears your personal business, and not having any neuroudiverse issues, and there's no written record. Obviously it's unimaginable that you could also email because as the paying customer that's your preference.
We will do these things but I will be including in the complaint that these are their only options. I hate them and how our society is allowed to 'function' so much.
