Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -
Oh no 😞This build is unbelievably frustrating, it’s just one thing after another 😞

Ohhhh...for pity's sake, can't something just go right for a change with this build? It just sounds so horribly stressful. I hope there is a way through this latest problem as it really has got well beyind a joke now.
2026's challenges: 1) To rebuild our Emergency Fund to at least £5k.
2) To read 50 books (12/50) 3) The Re-Shrinking of Foxgloves 8.1kg/30kg
Remember....if you have to put it on a credit card, extend your overdraft or take out a loan to buy whatever it is, you probably can't afford it, as that's not your money, it's somebody else's!0 -
Yours will be fine @Watty1 don't lose faith. You will be able to be onsite easily and won't have to 'project manage' with a million different moving parts. If this sort of ridiculousness occurs with yours then you can choose to sack it off, you have somewhere to live so if it no longer suits you just swan out in a marvellous outfit with a glass of champers in one hand and a cigarette holder in the other and tell these people to begone from your estate, but I very much doubt it can get anywhere near as utterly boll*cks as this
It really has @foxgloves it really, really has

I can’t believe the attitude of the water company. Can you escalate a complaint to the chief executive ? It’s not your doing it’s theirs so they should sort it. I feel so angry on your behalf

This is a good idea.

Have you contacted your MP's office. Isn't this something they should also be looking into?

Thanks, they've been cc'd in @cbsexec
It's on the list if council can't sort it @weenancyinAmerica but last time we contacted MP the council just lied to them and when we told the MP the council were 'mistaken' we never heard from MP's office again despite chasing, so not much hope they'd help us
