Lol PiP AI is useful when the cognitive battery is low. It's just an information retrieval system- the more people who use it with perspective the better. Or understand that it is part of an arsenal of tools not a replacement.

I am fine with others using it if it's of benefit to them @WelshmansDaughter but as its existence has, in the space of a couple of years, completely wiped out mine and my friends' earning capability and made the decades of building up portfolios and contacts fully redundant, it is not welcome in my home.

Whereas I wouldn't have a job without it. It's a funny old world.
It is horrible that your community is so affected.
Now I'm off to contemplate the mind that used a 3 inch nail for one skirting board and none at all for the other.

On the AI front, we used it in a work meeting to takes notes and I also took notes the traditional way. We compared the results and concluded my notes were easier to understand and AI had attributed a comment to someone we were pretty certain they didn’t say.
I’ve sifted job applications where you could tell who had used AI and a few were almost identical.
It must be a worry for you and those in your field of work 😞I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
Sounds familiar @Sun_Addict, Mr PIP as part of a survey was asked to input something for AI to give search results for so he asked a question he knew the answer to what with working in that area. AI got facts wrong about one part of the answer and the other two parts, just made up. These places/people/things simply do not exist, but there's no way anyone would know its untrue unless they worked in Mr PIP's dept. Really worrying.
