An in-between phase

@beanielou an email was sent to them asking when they're going to adjust this and return any money to our account (I know we've only had it five minutes but that 0.2p is my 0.2p 😂). I then emailed broker asking him to email them and back me up, and he's asked for copy of my email so he can add anything to that in his response so fingers crossed for a swift sorting-out!
Thanks @KajiKita I'm always on mobile so that's not working! Appreciate the suggestion
Cheers @jwil, suspect we'll need some of the PB money to counter the additional interest they've landed us with. I have been repeatedly asking about interest for months and got strong feeling everyone thought I was being 'one of those tricky customers who doesn't really understand how things work' so while an absolute pain and an unnecessary mission, at least I can be like 'I knew it! I damn well knew you would do exactly this thing. In your face, patronising reassuring comments that you dashed off without ever actually checking, in your face.'

Breathing more calmly now I've edited to put the end apostrophe in @lucielle 😂 (though I can't get it to stop italicising 😭)
I will absolutely be on it like a car bonnet getting them to sort this out, fully got my compo face on for my 0.2p too 😁 And they don't even know I'm waiting to send my complaint in about them haranguing me for being in receipt of pip benefit, which I was kinda feeling bad about raising, but now they just keep on being repeatedly sh*t I have no qualms whatsoever

Constantly redrafting that letter @beanielou need to not be emotive and sound 'crazy' but need to get across how much of a complete disgrace their conduct was. Tis hard

organisations are well aware when AI has been used to write something too I suspect, and almost certainly treat it as less credible anyway. Helpful for those who have no choice for whatever reason perhaps, but those of us who CAN draft a decent letter are best off continuing to do so without letting the robots help, I suspect!
Bah poo and fiddlesticks to the mortgage rate thing though - I mean it could have been caused by a renegotiation very close to the funds being released, and will be subsequently adjusted and corrected, but if that was the case surely they could have at least told you and saved you the stress? Wretches!
Got you on the copy and paste thing Just testing to see if this works on my iPad notes app - let’s see… OK - the bit in bold is pasted, so I’ll see if it posts…
edit So why would it work on one sort of device and not on another I wonder -do I remember correctly that you’re on android? If so that might be worth feeding back on the relevant thread on the feedback board because it sounds like a software glitch in the forum somewhere doesn’t it, and I bet it will be affecting lots of folk too.
