Well done for nailing the invigilating and enjoy the catchup with your friendIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

In a rather lazy mood after that very tiring week but dun:
Usuals
Survey
A third wussy situps
Popped some bits over to mum
Flat clean
An hour's walk as need to make up my steps
Beer time with Mr PIP
Mr PIP took an item to be sold so that's a few more quid in the flat pot and a thing off my to-do list 😊
Knackered! Hope everyone is having a good one 🍻5 -
Happy Saturday 🍺I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

Well I woke up with period pains and Mr PIP woke up with a cold so productive day went out the window!
20 minute walk getting essentials
Admin
Tidying
Comping
Receipt survey
Survey cashout, shares to usual pots with a couple of quid in the Christmas pot to get it started
Prepped a nutritious pasta bake
Entered some competitions, today I'm mostly looking forward to winning wine and cash please
30 minute carpet walk
The Big Rain has just arrived with some thunder so I'm now going to hunker down on the sofa and enjoy a cosy evening doing very little. Hope everyone is having a lovely Sunday 🍻3 -
Feeling a bit ropey with period today but best get it out of the way as much as possible before invigilating early tomorrow 🤞
Finished a book with Mr PIP, The Suspicions of Mr Whicher. Absolutely dreadful, cannot fathom why everyone loved it when it came out
Usuals
Quarter wussy situps
Ordered a birthday card for Mr PIP
Receipt survey
Lots of build admin
Our potential mortgage lender is getting right up our noses. Really, really hoping for a big money win so we can tell them to shove it
Shower and hairwash
60 minute carpet walk in sections (of time, not carpet)
Finished a book, A Little Book of Language by David Crystal. A delight, aimed at younger readers but thoroughly enjoyable
Did not go back to bed at any point which was an immense achievement6 -
Well that was a pain with the MSE site being so intermittent again. Hope everyone especially @ladyholly is okay
In the meantime I cleaned the kitchen sink and completed enough surveys on a site to cash out a $25 reward for doing 500. Don't know if I'm impressed or appalled. Or human according to the dodgy MSE verification!
Up horribly early tomorrow for invigilating, was meant to be starting later but manager messaged and asked if I wanted to do extra shift and I can hardly turn down money if I want to enjoy my imaginary scenario where we turn around to the mortgage lender and say haughtily 'we will not be engaging in further speculation with you'.
In this scenario I am wearing a bonnet and a dress with several skirt layers and am pruning roses in a somewhat worrying way with my secateurs. I have really missed my calling as a Victorian dowager.6 -
I love the imaginary scenario. I hope invigilating goes wellIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Am also up for being a Dowager, but perhaps slightly later than Victorian. I could model myself on the fabulous Maggie Smith as the Dowager Countess.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!2
