Thanks @doingitanyway, I'm glad you're not in pain now. Fortunately it's not always this bad, hopefully it will calm down for early start invigilating tomorrow
Thanks @EssexHebridean, the affronts do rather get a bit much sometimes. Very glad of the PB win, hopefully you'll get summat next month
Cheers @beanielou, hope your bits and bobs are behaving themselves2 -
Somewhat annoying day, waited in all morning for contractor to sort the kitchen skirting boards re mice and he showed up an hour and a half after the end of the appt time.
Has at least put a bit of skirting behind the fridge and some wire wool behind the cupboards
Had another stranger get in touch asking whose number this is so seems like my number is being spoofed and used for spam. Apparently there's nothing I can do about it other than change my number which I'm not doing
Usuals
Couple of surveys
Gentle carpet walk
Money from ziffit (well, world of books) and couple of survey providers so shares to current account, flat pot, tax pot (booo)
Dinner is boiled potatoes which I can at least spear on the end of my fork. Don't think I'll be getting invited to contribute to Debretts any time soon1 -
Aww it’s awful being in pain.My DS struggles cutting things up with his hypermobility, we use scissors to cut all food up as it’s easier,Sealed pot challenge 822

Aw poor thing, my sympathies to DS @dawnybabes
There are so many things you don't realise or remember that hurt, the motion of washing hands, taking top off lipbalm, defeating the mortal enemy of joint problems- the Anti Child Lid 😁2 -
I am sorry your pain is excessive at the moment. Things are never easy with chronic pain conditions.
On a slightly different topic I believe you used to be able to request tablets in non childproof bottles. I dont know if this is still the case. If not have you considered get them in daily boxes such as the ones supplied to care homes or you can do your own when your pain level is not quite so bad or ask Mr PIP to help.. I know as and when tablets are more difficult but even those could be put in a small container that is easier to open when things are bad. Not trying to tell you what to do but just a couple of suggestions you may not have thought of.2 -
Thank you @ladyholly, I have painkillers in the foil and plastic packets that present another difficulty themselves! I usually get Mr PIP to help so not too big an issue, just always frustrating having to ask for help yet again over what should be a simple thing. All manageable though, grateful to have a nice fella who's able and happy to assist2

Thank you @Blackcats shoulder less sore this morning phew, let's hope it stays that way at least until this shift is over!
Happy Friday all, let's have a smashing one 😊1 -
So sorry you are really struggling with pain right now.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!1 -
Invigilating
That was a long hot shift with no break and an achey body
Back home to fit in lunch and admin, tidying, comping then shortly back out again for a catch up with a friend
Dinner is whatever random leftovers are knocking about, I'm too knackered to think about it!
Have a fabulous evening 🥂
