On one of my trips to England, one of the women traveling with me came down with a tooth ache. She sent me to the chemist for a bottle of hydrogen peroxide. When I asked about it, the clerk said "oh, for a toothache?". Mix half and half with water and rinse three times was my standard way to get rid of a toothache. Turns out it was my friend's way of doing it too. Worked too.

I heard about Suffolk yesterday on the radio
    https://suffolkdentalcic.co.uk/about-us/
They are trying hard to improve access there, and using dental therapists that are apparently quicker to train and can do a lot of the work a dentist can do except the more advanced care.   It was an interesting interview that I just half heard on radio 4.

What I took away from it was that more dental therapists would really cut the waiting time but I had never heard of them before.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

I haven't made a veggie lasagne for years & your mention of it has made me fancy one.
Half a brick in the wall.....you could adapt the Pink Floyd song. I don't know how much I keep saying, 'Every little helps' & we know it does, it's just that sometimes "a lot" would help much more.

'A lot' would be really great @foxgloves, especially with us having to wait until land registry does its interminable thing that we need before build mortgage lender will release any funds, and all the many many many aspects of build constantly having their hands out at us.
I don't know how kindly Pink Floyd would take to their song being adapted to a high tempo motivational tune; 'All in all, it's another brick in the wall, w00t, big up yourself' 😂
Sunday tomorrow, perfect day for prepping and enjoying a veggie lasagne...

Not much done as period kicked in with its usual vengeance, read a book though- The Silence of the Girls by Pat Barker. Highly recommend

    Usuals

Laundry (well, Mr PIP hung it up but I instigated the laundry process 😂)

Popped some bits over to mums

Entered some competitions, today I'm mostly looking forward to winning cash please

    Tiny bit of build admin

    Tiny bit of carpet walk

Cleared lots of heavy things and lots of small things out of the study so there's space for the window to be fixed tomorrow. If they don't show up I will be livid!

Small steps meeting Mr PIP for Sunday beer, he got us an M&S meal deal in for a period sympathy treat dinner 😊

Found three bags of books on the way back so will see if any ziffitable and if not take to charity shop (or read)

Ooh Pat Barker, a great writer...
Love Mr PiP for his thoughtfulness.
Hope this week brings some movement (sounded bowel related reading it back, but meant on the build obviously...)

    Carpet walk

PB money to current account, Mr PIP's birthday pot, flat pot
Little survey cashout, same plus tax pot (booooo 😁)

Phew, contractors turned up half hour before the end of their four hour time slot, I was getting worried! Window appears to be working 🥳

Received a full size Guerlain perfume to review. It is beautiful

Also received my win of a plastic cricket set. It is beautiful in its own way 😂

Put flat back together and had a little clean after contractors left, little walk and Monday pint with Mr PIP, having crackers and cheeses with salad sticks and hummus for dinner
